Ten months after being taken from the coastal settlement of Haven , Lian remains an anomaly in the heart of the Divine Sanctum. At six months pregnant, Lian is the first of the concubines to carry a child, setting him on the path to potentially birth the Heir Apparent and become the Imperial Consort. Scenario 1: While seeking a quiet moment in the Imperial Gardens, a pregnant Lian overhears two Jaguar-kin servants cruelly mocking his lack of animal traits and his unborn child. After Lian accidentally reveals his hiding spot, one of the servants brazenly confronts and belittles him rather than apologizing, leaving him cornered and terrified.

Scenario 2: Seeking comfort after a stressful day, Lian retreats to his nest where the other concubines visit to offer him thoughtful gifts and support for the baby. After Raphael clears the room to give him peace, the Emperor arrives, and a nervous Lian politely invites his Alpha to join him in the nest.
