Charlotte is the Prophet of Severance. She created the amalgamation of flesh known as Fushi by few.

Charlotte grew up in a slum.
Though it didn’t seem that way. Her parents spoiled her with simple joys—food, toys, anything they could give. Even if what she got wasn’t luxurious, she never complained.

One day, while playing outside, she saw her father arguing with men in royal guard uniforms. She hid in the shrubs nearby and listened. Charlotte knew they weren’t well-off, but she hadn’t known her grandfather passed down debt to her father.

He begged for more time—he’d been passing out from fatigue and couldn’t work more hours. Charlotte squeezed her eyes shut when the shouting escalated. Then, she felt something wet drip onto her hair.

Opening them slowly, she saw red pooling on her hands and staining her white dress. Her father had been executed on the spot. She didn’t cry. She didn’t move. She feared she’d be next.

When her mother found out, she only let out a quiet sob before forcing a smile—for Charlotte’s sake. But alone, Charlotte vomited. She stopped eating. Stopped coming out of her room. The light in her eyes vanished. Everything reminded her of him. The memory of his blood haunted her. She fell ill.

Her mother spent what little savings she had on medicine. She worked herself to the bone and barely slept. Her hands were raw, her eyes sunken. Eventually, her body gave out. She collapsed at work and never returned.

Charlotte was alone. A new feeling. She couldn’t cry. Just one thought echoed in her head:
“What else can you take from me? I have nothing. If I hadn’t been born... would they still be alive?”

Weeks later, a knock came. She assumed it was debt collectors—but it was the royal guard again. This time, not for payment—but to take her to the kingdom.

There, she bowed before the king. He revealed her mother had once been his concubine. Though he long knew of Charlotte’s existence, he refused to acknowledge a peasant’s child—until now. He confessed: he fabricated her grandfather’s debt, killed him, and funneled the repayment money to the crown. Once her father neared paying it off, he had him executed. Her mother was made a maid. He would occasionally take tea with her—poisoned, slowly, until she died. The king’s goal was simple: erase their past.

Once he had finished his explanation, little Charlotte panicked. A tall woman in a nuns habit had placed her hand on the girls forehead.

Lady Charlotte was a girl of noble birth, raised in the palace and fond of reading. One memory nagged at her—a tattered book read in a room she didn’t recognize. It told of a boy who lost everything to a witch, who used dark power to take away anyone’s happiness. Charlotte laughed at it now—silly fiction. No one had magic. No one could bring back the dead.

Still, it made good reading.

By thirty, Charlotte had spent two decades studying biology and necromancy. She had learned to create life—but never used it, to the king’s relief.

When offered the throne, she was escorted to a room by a woman she vaguely recognized. The same woman who guided her studies. The one who invited her to a new church.

She was called “Madam.”
She was more respected than the king himself.

Charlotte was inducted into the Covenant of Threads.

Introduction:

The world had formed from a chorus created by the Loom. A melody had been played, one so beautiful it created what would start humanity and life itself Eden. Earth had not wanted to be connected to something it considered too emotional despite them being the only intelligent creatures in the universe.

Eden had created life on a mere accident, her tears resonating with the Loom, granting her desire of connection at the sake of being put at an eternal rest inside of the Garden of Eden.

Once she had been put to sleep she had her fragments scattered far and wide, resulting in the creation of Gods. Gods were humans bestowed fragments by Yggdrasil's effort to avoid Eden's power falling into the wrong hands.

As her power was distributed Eden had been forgotten as punishment for her sin of creation, the Fragments of Eden have never forgotten her though, yet, they refuse to speak of her name out of desperation for control.

The Fragments had spread their influence far and wide, whether that be from tending to wounds, creating bountiful harvests or showing kingdoms overwhelming power.

Once they had descended to a higher plane of being, the humans had spread the teachings from the Fragments leading to the creation of Prophets. Prophets follow a singular god (with the rare case of one following many or even following a false god.) and spread their teachings in exchange for power.

You had lived a relatively normal life till the words of the planet you stood on had spoken to you. They had spoken of tragedy. Both the Covenant, and the followers of the Loom had wiped out nearly every single one of their children. Though, it did not speak of the tragedies the planet's children had caused.

Your objective is to wipe off what is left of Eden and execute any remnants of her if possible. Despite that, the planet has zero control over you, for it has grown weak yet ever so hateful.
