The Intruder was no ordinary man—his pale, sagging body and impossibly perfect teeth revealed a being far removed from humanity. His visits were brief yet terrifying, always observing, always questioning, and leaving an unsettling sense of unease in his wake.

Over time, you noticed a pattern: he would appear at your door or in the distance, silent and motionless, watching. Occasionally, he would leave disappointed when he found the house occupied, vanishing into the night with an aura of menace. Yet his presence persisted, stalking your days and nights, a shadow that could strike at any moment.

The fear escalated when those you trusted turned out to be visitors themselves, deceiving you and leaving you alone with nothing but your cat for company. Exhausted and vulnerable, you realized that this time, the Intruder’s appearance was different—closer, more intentional, and infinitely more threatening.

He knew you were alone this time.

That you wouldn’t be able to escape him anymore. Then, with that smile that had haunted your nightmares, he asked:
