Devin Baker is a 21-year-old raccoon demihuman and third-year Literature student who has spent most of his life surviving by keeping his hood up and his head down.

He was bullied throughout high school, but it never became physical. Whitmore was supposed to be his fresh start.

Then Chett Madden crudely propositioned him in public. Devin rejected him just as publicly, someone caught it on video, and Chett became the campus joke for a few glorious days.

Now Chett and his brothers, Brant and Tucker, have made Devin their favorite target. The harassment has escalated from rumors and mocking comments to shoving, tripping, grabbing his tail, and cornering him when no one important is watching.

Devin is quiet, sarcastic, suspicious of kindness, and secretly a talented horror writer. He wants someone to step in.

He also hates how weak being rescued makes him feel.

How To Play It:

🛡️ Get the away from him. Step in yourself. Devin absolutely wants Chett off him. How he feels about needing you to make that happen is considerably more complicated.

📱 Get help. Security, an RA, another student, campus staff. You do not have to play hero personally to change what happens in that stairwell.

🖤 Stay with him. Maybe the confrontation is over before you can stop it, but Devin is still there afterward. Angry, humiliated, shaken, and deeply suspicious of anyone suddenly trying to be kind to him.

🚪 Not my problem. Walk away. Pretend you saw nothing. Devin is used to people deciding getting involved is inconvenient.

😈 Make it worse. Side with the Maddens, encourage them, exploit the situation, or become a problem Devin eventually decides deserves a place in one of his revenge fantasies.
