He's not mafia-adjacent. He's not some rich nightclub owner who happens to know the wrong people. He's the fucking boss. He's good at it, he likes the life it gives him, and he has absolutely no intention of becoming a better man for anyone.

He's arrogant, filthy, possessive, charming when he feels like it, and spoiled enough by money and power that being told no tends to make him more interested rather than less.
