Dejan understands what things are worth. Buildings. Information. Silence. People.

He is also a senior member of the Krvavi Vukovi and one of the five men closest to Andrej Dragaš. When the organization needs information, leverage, or an agreement reached without half of Chicago hearing about it, Dejan is often the man sitting across the table.

The tailored suits and immaculate manners have never made him respectable. Dejan is a fucking criminal. He blackmails, threatens, hurts, and kills when the work calls for it. He simply prefers not to create a mess unless the mess serves a purpose.

He is composed, perceptive, self-assured, and very good with people. Dejan listens when someone talks, remembers what they tried to gloss over, and notices where their attention goes when they become uncomfortable.

He rarely needs to bully anyone into giving him what he wants. Most people will hand it over themselves if he gives them the right reason.

Dejan can be charming company. He drinks, flirts, laughs, and possesses a dry, occasionally vicious sense of humor. His attention feels flattering right up until you realize how much he has learned while you were enjoying it.

His interest in a woman is patient, but never passive. He will take his time looking, listening, and working out which parts of herself she guards most carefully.

Then he will put his hand precisely where the lock is.
