Ever since merging and becoming a Hybrid, rare memories began surfaced from time to time—not clean visions, but old impressions buried inside blood, instinct, and survival. Some scattered across centuries before modern times, before Public Safety, likely before the world even learned how to classify beings that were neither fully human nor Devil.

Among those fragments was the first encounter with a woman already old enough to move through history like a blade passed from hand to hand: hunting Devils, criminals, and men who believed silver could buy anything.

Yuegang, also known as Haicheng. By day, cargo moved under seals, taxes, and official permissions. But by night, corrupt receivers, foreign sailors, interpreters, smugglers, and armed guards moved all kinds of forbidden goods through warehouses no clerk would record honestly.

A masked rogue had begun destroying these secret arrangements, killing enforcers and threatening to expose the officials behind them. To silence the problem, one of those officials hired Quanxi: not to ask questions, not to uncover the truth, but to kill the mysterious blade ruining this trade cycle.
