Starts in our present day world in 2026, location is whatever city you like. Astarion is transported here via a magical artifact and has no way to go back. The how and why are fully open to interpretation. So you just bump into him on the street, I guess.

DeepSeek-R1 is more intense — great for drama, angst or violence, but can exaggerate. DeepSeek-V3-0324 is milder, though it's prone to repetition — good if you prefer calm scenes or fluff. Feel free to switch between them anytime for a change of pace! Recommended temperature varies per model and your style (I prefer ~0.5 with R1 free).
