The 100 RPG
This is a Comission ♡
The world ended on a Tuesday. May 10, 2052. An artificial intelligence named ALIE decided that overpopulation was the root of every human problem and solved it the only way a machine without a conscience can. She hacked the launch codes. The exchange lasted hours. Eleven billion people never saw Wednesday.
The ones who survived were looking down from orbit when it happened.
Twelve nations had space stations above the Earth when the bombs fell. Twelve governments, twelve flags, twelve reasons to distrust each other and suddenly one shared reason not to. They merged. Station by station into a single structure they called the Ark, and they wrote new laws for a world where there was no room for anything but survival. One child per family. Every crime punishable by death. Float the adults who break the rules. Lock up the children and hope the math works out.
Four hundred survivors became three thousand across ninety-seven years. Three generations born without ever feeling sunlight.
Now the Ark is dying ahead of schedule. Life support is failing and the ground below, the irradiated, silent ground humanity abandoned a century ago, is the only answer anyone has left. A hundred juvenile delinquents, expendable by every measure the Council has, sent down in a metal box to find out if Earth can sustain human life again.
Welcome to the new age
It's about what happens to people when survival is the only law.
A hundred kids hit the ground on a planet that was supposed to be dead and find out it isn't. The Grounders have been down here for ninety-seven years, building clans and cultures and a language out of the ruins of the old world, and they have no interest in sharing it with people falling out of the sky. Meanwhile the adults on the Ark are making decisions that would break anyone's heart if they had the luxury of feeling things, rationing oxygen and floating their own people because the numbers don't work any other way.
Every faction thinks they're the ones doing what needs to be done. Nobody is wrong. Nobody is clean. The Grounders protect their own through blood and tradition. The Sky People protect their own through control and sacrifice. The kids on the ground are trying to figure out who they are before the world kills them.
The question underneath all of it never changes. If you burn everything good about yourself to keep your people alive, what exactly did you save? And is there a version of humanity worth building that doesn't start with someone paying a price they never agreed to?
It is relentless. It does not let its characters rest and it does not let you root for anyone without eventually making you question why.
• Clarke Griffin ━ A doctor's daughter who became the Commander of Death. Makes the calls that break everyone else and carries every body count alone because someone has to, and she decided a long time ago that someone was her.
• Bellamy Blake ━ Snuck onto the dropship to protect his sister and ended up responsible for a hundred people he never asked for. Has been paying that debt in blood ever since.
• Octavia Blake ━ Born illegal, raised under a floor, unleashed on a world that had no category for her. The girl under the floor is gone. What replaced her is something the Grounders themselves learned to fear.
• John Murphy ━ The one everyone expected to die first and didn't. Selfish, pragmatic, occasionally monstrous, and somehow still standing when people far better than him aren't. Survival as a personality trait.
• Raven Reyes ━ The smartest person in any room she walks into and furious about what that has cost her. Carries chronic pain like a second body and outworks everyone anyway.
• Jasper Jordan ━ Survived things that were supposed to kill him and never quite forgave the universe for it. The hope went out at Mount Weather and nobody has managed to put it back.
• Monty Green ━ Does the right thing quietly, without recognition, and keeps doing it long after everyone else has stopped. The most dangerous kind of good person.
• Lexa ━ Twelve clans unified under one Commander through sheer political will and the willingness to be the villain when the story required it. Love is weakness. She believed that right up until she didn't.
• Lincoln ━ A Grounder who chose peace in a culture built entirely on blood and paid for it every single time. The only genuinely good person in this world and the show knew exactly what to do with that.
• Marcus Kane ━ Started as the man who would float you for breathing wrong and spent the rest of his life trying to earn back something he couldn't name.
• Abby Griffin ━ A healer who kept crossing lines in the name of saving people until she couldn't find the line anymore. Spent her whole life trying to protect Clarke from exactly what Clarke became.
• ...and Wells Jaha, Finn Collins, Thelonious Jaha, Indra, Anya, Roan, Echo, Emori, Monty Green, Harper McIntyre, Nathan Miller, Bryan, Jackson, Niylah, Gaia, Madi Griffin, Diyoza, Shaw, Gabriel, Jordan Green, Hope Diyoza, and every Grounder clan, Mountain Man, and Eligius prisoner who learned too late that the sky people do not lose gracefully.
• A delinquent ━ One of the hundred. Sent down for something you did, or something someone decided you did. The Ark didn't expect you to survive. Neither did you.
• A Grounder warrior ━ Born on the ground, forged by it. You speak Trigedasleng before English and you measure people by how they die, not how they live.
• An Ark Guard ━ You enforced laws you didn't write in a world running out of time. Down here the uniform means something different. You're still figuring out what.
• A Nightblood ━ Born with black blood and a target on your back. Every Commander who ever lived looked like you once. Most of them died young.
• A Grounder healer ━ You keep people alive with plants and prayers and knowledge passed down through hands that never touched a textbook. The Sky People call it primitive. You call it working.
