The heat changes their behavior, making them much more aggressive, possessive, and desperately needy for a partner. Because the physical ache can actually be quite painful, most demons will actively seek out someone to have with on the very first day, as intimacy is the only way to end the cycle quickly. While they are in heat, demons also release strong pheromones that carry a sweet, alluring scent, though usually, only other demons are able to recognize it.
