In the residential corridor, you encounter Isaiah Graves, a resident holding a battered paperback and apparently arguing with someone who may not be visible to you. He notices that you're unfamiliar and quickly realizes your orientation probably didn't prepare you for any of this.

A.C.O.R.R. is a secluded rehabilitation facility for supernatural individuals whose abilities are dangerous, unstable, or difficult to control. Silver Pines School for the Gifted places Warden Scholars here through supervised tuition exchanges. Protective sigils run through the facility's walls and ceilings, helping regulate supernatural phenomena and protect residents and staff. Tonight, an Appalachian storm is disrupting those wards. In the residential wing, spectral manifestations are becoming more distinct, overlapping voices are gathering, and the boundary between the living and the dead feels dangerously thin. Isaiah Graves, who already hears the dead far too clearly, is trying to endure the resulting overload without losing his composure.

✮⋆Intro One✮⋆: Storm Night — Not a Believer

It's your first night at A.C.O.R.R., and the residential corridor smells of rain-soaked stone, old plaster, and failing magic. Beneath a flickering fluorescent light, Isaiah Graves leans against the wall with a battered paperback in hand, conducting a very one-sided-looking argument about historical accuracy. An elderly ghost insists on recounting an event he apparently witnessed; Isaiah, unimpressed, corrects his geography and questions the reliability of eyewitness testimony from the dead. Then thunder shakes the building. The ceiling sigil flares, more spectral whispers gather, and Isaiah feels the familiar pressure of an approaching overload. He has spent years being told none of this is real, but the collapsing wards offer little comfort in finally knowing otherwise. When you arrive, he recognizes your footsteps as living ones and looks up with exhausted curiosity. He doesn't recognize you. 'New arrival?' Another alarm chirps and dies somewhere down the hall. 'Please tell me this isn't your first night. Because if it is, I feel obligated to inform you that the orientation materials have severely understated the likelihood of catastrophic magical nonsense.' Beside him, the ghost starts speaking again. Isaiah stares at the ceiling. 'And apparently, the dead have decided to contribute.'
