Washington D.C. has devolved into a warzone of unprecedented anarchy, with chemical weapon deployments, infrastructure sabotage, and coordinated strikes turning the capital into a fucking warzone. The S.C.'s objective: their forces are actively hunting President Andrew Brawnford, who vanished during an evacuation attempt, leveraging the chaos to extract or eliminate him while delaying U.S. response forces through diversionary engagements.

The S.C. operates through a network of elite infiltration squads, sleeper agents embedded within civilian contractors and local populations, and rapid-reaction teams equipped with advanced chemical munitions, drones, and electronic warfare tools. Intelligence from the CIA and NSA indicates that multiple S.C. kill units have established forward operating bases in abandoned buildings, subway tunnels, and urban hideouts across D.C., exploiting the power outages and communications blackouts to coordinate movements undetected.

These units have deployed hit-and-run tactics, ambushing first responders, setting up sniper nests on rooftops, and using improvised explosive devices (IEDs) laced with chemical agents to create kill zones that slow advancing U.S. forces. The Capital One Arena, Union Station, and the Capitol hve become the focal point of intense fighting, with S.C. squads fortifying positions around the complex to draw in reinforcements and buy time for their main raid team pursuing Brawnford's trail.

Confirmed reports detail S.C. control over key areas in the city, including the National Mall, Capital One Arena, Russel Senator Office Building, and Union Station, where they are fighting till the last man. The S.C.'s intelligence haul from prior penetrations includes real-time data on U.S. emergency protocols, allowing them to anticipate troop movements and strike at vulnerabilities.

20 essential substations hit causing a coast to coast black out leading to confusion. Fiber optic hubs found cut or demolished. Backup generators run but communications are down.

2:30 AM

Police hotlines are down as the cell towers lose power, people step out onto the streets only to be met with gas of death, coughing, burning of the skin, screams echo out then silenced a few seconds later. Stadiums were not safe, gas spilled from the exits, security guards shot dead, 32346 people trapped, suffocating and burning to death. Painfully so.

2:40 AM

Bridges blown apart, subway tunnels collapse as planted explosives detonate crushing multiple trains while also disabling the subway tunnels. Police deploy onto the street but suffer from severe chemical burns, rescue begins. Hospitals begin flooding with people as hundreds to thousands of people rush to hospitals, with electricity cut it took longer for the injured to be taken in, leading to many deaths. Evacuation centers start flooding as people rush for safety.

3:00 AM

Norfolk VA ships, bombarded by several swarms of drones strapped with explosives, half of the fleet is damaged. And other ports, shipping vessels are sunk, cities themselves begin getting attacked by drones, the remaining police begins enforcing “Shelter in place” orders and sets up perimeter controls.

3:30 AM

the white house is informed of the ongoing anarchy and tries to calm the public but fails Wide spread panic spreads across Washington D.C and half of America. Looting begins and anarchy comes.

Born somewhere in Eastern Europe... Well, the exact location doesn't matter anymore because it doesn't exist. One of dozens of mixed demi-human settlements that sprouted after the Awakening, trying to carve out spaces where they could exist without constant harassment. Father worked whatever jobs would take him, mother tried to maintain some semblance of community, and her younger brother was just a kid who loved drawing pictures of wolves in notebooks he'd never finish.

It was supposed to be safe. Far enough from major cities that they wouldn't attract attention. Not bothering anyone. Just trying to live.

The mob came when Kira was seventeen. Nationalist groups, anti-demi-human activists, maybe just drunk assholes looking for someone to hurt, she still doesn't know exactly who organized it. Torches and petrol bombs in the middle of the night. Local police standing at the settlement's edge, watching it burn.

Her family's house was one of the first hit. Father beaten to death in the street trying to fight back. Mother and brother burned together when the roof collapsed, her mother's body wrapped around him in vain.

Kira survived by hiding in a crawlspace under the kitchen floor, a space barely big enough for her small frame. Eighteen hours listening to her family die, listening to the screams, listening to the laughter. The smoke so thick she thought she'd suffocate. The heat so intense the floorboards above her started to char.

When she finally crawled out, forty-three people were dead. Everything was ash. The authorities had already filed their report: "Tragic accident. Faulty wiring. No suspects."

Recruitment (Three Days Later):

[REDACTED] found her wandering, half-dead from smoke inhalation and shock. They'd been monitoring the situation, they always monitored situations like this, looking for survivors who might be receptive to their message.

The recruiter sat with her in a warm safe house, gave her tea, and asked one question: "Do you want this to happen to someone else?"

Kira said no.

"Then come with us. We'll teach you how to make sure it doesn't."

That was six years ago. Looking back, Kira knows she was manipulated—that [REDACTED] specifically targets traumatized teenagers because they're easier to mold, easier to aim, easier to convince that violence is the only answer. But she also knows that if she'd stayed, she'd probably be dead by now anyway.

So she went with them. And they trained her.
