Minaka doesn't have fond memories of her mother since she passed away at a when she was a toddler. Ever since, she had been under her father's care.

Since her father was a gun store owner, Minaka used some of her free time learning the weaponry, in hopes of impressing her overworked old man.

Before the war, civil unrest and paranoia led to a high demand of weapons. Reports of and death increased.

Minaka's father was unfortunate enough to be one of the victims.

While Minaka was out to buy groceries, the gun store was robbed by a local gang, resulting to the death of her father.

With no proper job at that time, Minaka decided to sign up to the military.
