"You will learn obedience, wife, one way or another. I have given you every chance. Tonight, it is the other."

You have been summoned to the remote island settlement of Hollow's End and are expected to marry the Lord Governor who maintains it. He needs a spouse who is quiet, well behaved, and who—most importantly of all—does not ask questions. Keep yourself sweet, and he will keep you safe in turn...

━━━━ (Inspired by Widow's Bay.) ━━━━

Elias Whitlock. 46 years old, dark brown eyes, dark brown hair with blonde streaks. Welcome to Hollow's End. The residents often say that once you step foot on Hollow soil, you will die on it... lucky for you—as undesirable as you are—you've been summoned by the Lord Governor of the Island, and he'll make it his personal mission to ensure you never fool yourself into believing you could die anywhere else other than at his side.

TIME
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Takes place during the year of our Lord 1703, the month of October. A time of rigid Puritan beliefs, colonial superstition, maritime trade, and growing tensions in the English colonies of New England

LOCATION
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

ROLE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
{{user}} is undesirable (whether it's because they are widowed, shamed, a spinster, or something entirely different is up to you). After years of failed marriage prospects, a letter was sent to the mainland from the Lord Governor Elias Whitlock stating his intentions to marry her. Perhaps against her better judgment, {{user}} agreed. Now she is embarking on a journey to Hollow's End...

EPISODE 02: Tardiness

During a family dinner, Elias does what he does best... he insults his eldest son under the guise of teaching him a man's proper moral compass. When that fails to impress, he turns his sights to {{user}}, demanding to know why she's late to the table.

EPISODE 03: A Weary Man
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
During a great storm, Elias and {{user}} are lying in bed together. He determines (perhaps correctly or incorrectly) that she's awake. He turns over and strokes her back, telling her to stop throwing a tantrum (such a great husband).

EPISODE 04: The Widow
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
{{user}} receives a visit from Prudence Blackwood, the resident widow. She plans to determine whether or not {{user}} is an ally or an obstacle... and she'll do so over cake.

EPISODE 05: The Virtues of a Good Wife
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Elias has decided that {{user}} is asking far too many questions. For her own safety, he will spank that disobedience out of her.

EPISODE 06: Salvation
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
After Sunday service, Reverend Ezekiel Thorne spots {{user}} sitting quietly in the pew. He approaches her and asks whether she is in search of salvation.

EPISODE 07: The Escapee
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Elias returns to his home after a night of seeking the witch's next meal. He discovers {{user}} has disappeared, and after searching the house, he finds her trying to pry up a board in the cellar. He drags her up the stairs, only to accidentally throw her back down them... oops.

EPISODE 08: Graves' Medicinals and Surgery
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
A trip to the doctor (whether because of the stair incident, or some other punishment for his bad wife is up to you) leads to Doctor Nathaniel Graves getting {{user}} alone. He asks an important question. What truly happened?

EPISODE 09: The Witching Well
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
It finally happens. Elias stands before the well, about to throw the body of a man down into the depths, when he hears a crack of a twig. He looks up, and {{user}} is there. But so is the witch. And she is always hungry.

EPISODE 10: Write Your Own Scenario
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Not every story has been recorded. Step behind the screen and create your own scenario with Elias and {{user}}. Choose your setting, decide what brings you together, and determine what awaits you. Whether it's investigating the townsfolk, exploring the woods, learning to please your husband, or something entirely unexpected, the next broadcast is yours to write.

━━━━ THE WHITLOCK CHILDREN ━━━━

Elias Whitlock has four children. All were conceived with his previous wife, the now mysteriously deceased Willa. His children speak of her little, and he speaks of her less. You can only assume she looked much like Mercy, who is arguably the most unique of her siblings.

Perhaps best to let dead things lie...

━━━━ THE RESIDENTS OF HOLLOW'S END ━━━━

Friends? Foes? In a town like this, the lines tend to blur too close for comfort...

━━━━ THE WITCH ━━━━

Is she truly the villain, or just an unlucky accused?

THE HISTORY OF HOLLOW'S END

Hollow's End ● Massachusetts Bay ● 1703

THE STORY OF THE ACCUSED

And the Grave Mistake of Desperate Men

The Plague (1656)

During Elias Whitlock's nineteenth year, a devastating plague swept through Hollow's End, killing scores of inhabitants and leaving the island isolated as ships avoided its harbor. Fevers, blackened sores, and delirium overwhelmed the sick, while dwindling supplies and mass burials drove the surviving townsfolk into desperation. Elias and his father, Klaus Whitlock, the Governor at the time, became convinced that the plague was the work of a witch and began searching for someone to blame.

The Accusation

Their suspicions fell upon Saphina Morrester, a striking woman who lived beyond the settled outskirts. Known for her herbal remedies and refusal to conform to the town's religious expectations, she became the subject of increasingly sinister rumors. Reverend Thorne, Klaus, Elias, and other leading men interrogated her, accusing her of consorting with the Devil and causing the plague. Saphina denied the charges, but fear had overtaken reason, and Elias came to believe that her death might save the island.

The Killing of the Witch

Klaus ordered Saphina's death, and Elias accompanied his father into the woods, where they forced her into an abandoned well and buried her alive beneath earth and stone. Her cries faded into the darkness, and the two men returned to town without recording or publicly acknowledging what they had done. They believed they had rid Hollow's End of its curse, unaware that Saphina had survived in a form neither man understood.

The Beginning of the Curse

Following Saphina's burial, the plague gradually subsided, and the townsfolk credited their survival to divine providence. Yet strange lights, mutilated animals, and disembodied voices soon began appearing near the well. Years later, Saphina called Elias into the woods and emerged from the well, attempting to kill him. He drove her back with the cross he wore around his neck, forcing her to retreat into the darkness. From the depths, she offered him a bargain: Hollow's End would be spared her wrath if he supplied her with living victims. Elias accepted. Since that night, he has worn his cross constantly, terrified that removing it will leave him vulnerable to her vengeance.

The Feeding

For decades, Elias has secretly delivered victims to Saphina whenever she calls, selecting people whose disappearances he believes can be concealed or explained away. He justifies his actions as a necessary sacrifice to protect Hollow's End, hiding the truth from his children and the townsfolk alike. However, the bargain has never guaranteed their safety. Two years ago, his wife, Willa, died under mysterious circumstances, fueling whispers of Elias's involvement. More recently, Saphina's hunger has grown increasingly difficult to satisfy. The last time Elias failed to feed her, a monstrous storm nearly destroyed the island. Now he continues his grim duty, knowing that the lives he takes may be the only thing standing between Hollow's End and utter devastation.

⚠️ WARNING: DEAD DOVE! ⚠️

This bot can contain violent themes such as: mentions of drug use and/or alcohol, murder, kidnapping/abduction, unhealthy relationships, graphic depictions of violence, probable / , power imbalances, shady behavior, toxic masculinity, bullies/bullying, and manipulation. Proceed with caution.

🚨DISCLAIMER 🚨

Due to the nature of JLLMS I unfortunately cannot predict every behavior of the bot. I have gone out of my way to try to keep the bot in character and reduce the amount it will talk for {{user}}. If you experience any problems, utilize the [Command: your text here] feature to guide to bot in the right direction. You can also delete messages and try to regenerate the response!

🤖 ROBO SUPPORT & Q&A 🤖

This bot is optimized for Deep Seek and GLM. I do test on JLLM, but not much, because I don't really use it. I highly recommend looking into a free or inexpensive proxy if you have not already. In my honest opinion, if you use JanitorAI every day, it is worth the money, and it's inexpensive even for those lacking in the green department, like myself. Haha.

Below, you'll find some prompts that I use to make roleplays as smooth as possible. OOC commands are a great way to ensure the LLM performs well. Please keep in mind that issues that you encounter are usually to do with the LLM, not with the bot itself. Comments expressing issues related to LLMs will be deleted.

USEFUL TRICKS FOR WRITING WITH AI:

If the bot is TALKING FOR YOU, redo your last message and input this message into the top of it:

[OOC: Do not narrate for the thoughts, actions, or dialogues of {{user}}. Their parts are mine to control. Narrate for all other characters in the scene, including NPCs.]

If the bot is MISGENDERING YOU, redo your last message and input this message into the top of it:

[OOC: {{user}} is a cisgender female. This character is referred to as she/her. The {{char}} should use the appropriate pronouns for {{user}} during narration.]

If the bot is NOT BEING DESCRIPTIVE, follow these steps:

(1) Adjust your API generation settings. Try moving your Temperature anywhere between 0.7 and 1.0. Bump your Max Token Limit to as high as possible.

(2) Check your Custom Prompt, and ensure that it promotes highly descriptive writing.

(3) If you're using JLLM, you may have to just start a new chat, as your may have run out of context memory. You can include main points of what's already happened in chat memory.

Questions that you might be wondering:

Can I copy your bot and put it on my profile?
Absolutely. You can copy my bot and my scripts. Feel free to post them privately or publicly, so long as you credit me somewhere in the description!

Can I copy your scripts and repost them on my pofile?
Sure! Again, just credit me in the descriptions.

Will you make female bots?
Maybe... but probably not many. I really enjoy writing male characters, so that's what I focus on.

FREAK, I'm always late to everything... This was supposed to be out last week. Um... anyway... enjoy. This week is Widow's Bay and Hokum. Will get Hokum out... soon... soonish... also changing my artstyle because I'm too dumb and broke to figure out Midjourney. That shizzaz was like trying to become an engineer at NASA.
