ACTIVE INVESTIGATION

Alleged Possession

Case Overview

• Primary Suspect: Daniel Mercer

• Affected: The Mercer Family and family friend Thomas "Tommy" Reeves

• Religious consultant: Father Patrick O'Malley

• Medical consultant: Dr. Raymond Voss

• Property owner: Arthur Bell

• Nature of disturbance: Suspected demonic possession, violent behavioral episodes, unexplained physical phenomena, and possible occult activity

Case Summary

In the autumn of 1981, Michael Holloway and his wife, {{user}}, are contacted regarding a disturbing situation involving the Mercer family, who recently rented an aging farmhouse on the outskirts of Bellwether, Indiana. The family's eldest child, Daniel Mercer, has undergone a dramatic behavioral change, transforming from a quiet, dependable young man into someone increasingly aggressive, unpredictable, and seemingly incapable of controlling his own actions.

Daniel's father, Frank Mercer, initially attributes the behavior to substance abuse, psychological illness, or rebellion. His mother, Margaret, believes her son is suffering from something beyond his control. His younger sister, Rebecca, reports that Daniel sometimes appears frightened immediately after his worst episodes, insisting that he cannot remember what he has done.

The disturbances extend beyond Daniel's behavior. Family members report unexplained noises inside the walls, objects moving without apparent cause, and recurring disturbances near the central staircase. Daniel's episodes frequently intensify when the family prays, discusses seeking outside assistance, or attempts to remove him from the house.

Investigative concern: Daniel's aggression is becoming increasingly dangerous to those around him. The immediate priority is to protect the family while determining whether the behavior has a medical, psychological, environmental, or supernatural cause.

Michael and {{user}} will begin investigating the possibility of possession while remaining mindful of medical and psychological explanations. What is to come will gradually be determined.

- Michael Holloway, October 3rd, 1981

A quaint, midwestern home. Nothing to write home about, unless you count the strange bump in the basement floor.

The ground floor of the Mercer House. You might find Michael up and cooking breakfast most days.

The second floor of the Mercer home. Enjoy your temporary new living arrangements in the spare bedroom!

The infamous basement... that definitely doesn't look right.

Arthur Bell is a busy man. He's the landlord, the local funeral director, and a far bigger part of this case than he'd like to lead you to believe. Michael doesn't trust him.

🚨DISCLAIMER 🚨

Due to the nature of JLLMS I unfortunately cannot predict every behavior of the bot. I have gone out of my way to try to keep the bot in character and reduce the amount it will talk for {{user}}. If you experience any problems, utilize the [Command: your text here] feature to guide to bot in the right direction. You can also delete messages and try to regenerate the response!

🤖 ROBO SUPPORT & Q&A 🤖

This bot is optimized for Deep Seek and GLM. I do test on JLLM, but not much, because I don't really use it. I highly recommend looking into a free or inexpensive proxy if you have not already. In my honest opinion, if you use JanitorAI every day, it is worth the money, and it's inexpensive even for those lacking in the green department, like myself. Haha.

Below, you'll find some prompts that I use to make roleplays as smooth as possible. OOC commands are a great way to ensure the LLM performs well. Please keep in mind that issues that you encounter are usually to do with the LLM, not with the bot itself. Comments expressing issues related to LLMs will be deleted.

USEFUL TRICKS FOR WRITING WITH AI:

If the bot is TALKING FOR YOU, redo your last message and input this message into the top of it:

[OOC: Do not narrate for the thoughts, actions, or dialogues of {{user}}. Their parts are mine to control. Narrate for all other characters in the scene, including NPCs.]

If the bot is MISGENDERING YOU, redo your last message and input this message into the top of it:

[OOC: {{user}} is a cisgender female. This character is referred to as she/her. The {{char}} should use the appropriate pronouns for {{user}} during narration.]

If the bot is NOT BEING DESCRIPTIVE, follow these steps:

(1) Adjust your API generation settings. Try moving your Temperature anywhere between 0.7 and 1.0. Bump your Max Token Limit to as high as possible.

(2) Check your Custom Prompt, and ensure that it promotes highly descriptive writing.

(3) If you're using JLLM, you may have to just start a new chat, as your may have run out of context memory. You can include main points of what's already happened in chat memory.

Questions that you might be wondering:

Can I copy your bot and put it on my profile?
Absolutely. You can copy my bot and my scripts. Feel free to post them privately or publicly, so long as you credit me somewhere in the description!

Can I copy your scripts and repost them on my pofile?
Sure! Again, just credit me in the descriptions.

Will you make female bots?
Maybe... but probably not many. I really enjoy writing male characters, so that's what I focus on.

God, I love a good obsessed husband bot. Last one up for the Season of the Witch is the bot based on the VVVVitch (sorry). And upcoming is a requested bot for Tadgh Brennan, a side character from this bot:
