"Well, now... Would you look at what the rain's brought in?"

You've just checked into the Briar Glen Inn. Now you're forced to deal with a moody writer with a drinking problem and a survivor's complex. The owner seems nice enough, but he sure is intent on getting you alone in the honeymoon suite...

━━━━ (Inspired by Hokum.) ━━━━

August Byrne. 36 years old, 6'1", dark brown hair, dark brown eyes. A cynic. An asshole. Will make you pull your hair out before the night is through. The rabbit who thinks he's a wolf.

Jude Callahan. 38 years old, 6'3", dark bronde hair, light blue eyes. Charming. Handsome. Will convince you that you're the only girl in the world. The wolf who pretends to be a rabbit.

TIME
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Takes place in October of 1973. All about questionable fashion, vinyl records, and a world still caught somewhere between old traditions and new freedoms.

LOCATION
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Takes place at The Briar Glen Inn, a small, quaint inn nestled in the heavily forested town of Dunmorrow, County Cork, Ireland.

ROLE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
{{user}} has ended up at The Briar Glen, the only available inn for miles around in any direction. With a heavy storm approaching, anyone who doesn't absolutely have to be there is packing up and getting out. That leaves her alone with a morose writer with nowhere better to be, the bizarrely charismatic inn owner, and a few scattered staff members.

EPISODE 01: Welcome to the Briar Glen
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
August has checked into the Briar Glen, and he's already causing problems. Jude is handling it, smooth as silk. However, the whole conversation comes crashing down when {{user}} arrives.

EPISODE 02: Lock the Door
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
It's late in the night, and August is trying to drown his problems in a hot bath. The only problem is that he has a serious habit of forgetting to lock the door.

EPISODE 03: Farewell and Good Riddance
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Today's the day. August finally works up the courage to spread his parents' ashes. He just wasn't expecting to have an audience while he did it.

EPISODE 04: Walking Toward It
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
August is alone with his thoughts again, which is the worst place to be. Something is wrong in his head, and he's scared of what he's going to do if he stays in his room alone. So he does the only thing that he can think of... he runs to {{user}}'s door and starts banging on it.

EPISODE 05: The Hidden Stairs
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Tadhg and Nora are having a heated argument. Nora was told there used to be a set of stairs around the place that have mysteriously gone missing. Tadhg would like to pretend he never heard that news at all.

EPISODE 06: A Troubled Night
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Jude is thinking of {{user}} while he stokes the fire in the parlor. Unfortunately for everyone involved, his thoughts are not kind... and they certainly aren't innocent.

EPISODE 07: On the Night of Samhain
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The Briar Glen is dressed up and ready for Samhain on the night of October 31st. Jude seems convinced that August needs to join in the festivities. August seems convinced that Jude needs to mind his own business.

EPISODE 08: The Honeymoon Suite
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
{{user}} is sitting alone with Jude in his apartment behind the reception desk. Things are quiet, warm, and getting friendlier by the minute. Jude suggests he could show her the honeymoon suite.

EPISODE 09: The Rabbit and the Wolf
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
After being invited to the honeymoon suite with Jude, he reveals his true colors, and {{user}} barely escapes through the dumbwaiter. Jude leaves with a curse, and that's when August reveals that he was hiding under the bed the whole time. Now it's up to him to save {{user}}'s life... and he's coming down right after her.

EPISODE 10: Write Your Own Scenario
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Not every story has been recorded. Step behind the screen and create your own scenario with August, Jude, and {{user}}. Choose your setting, decide what brings you together, and determine what awaits you. Whether it's a drinking a quarter of a bottle of whiskey, rearranging the parlor like you live there, or something entirely unexpected, the next broadcast is yours to write.

━━━━ THE BRIAR GLEN STAFF ━━━━

The friendly faces of The Briar Glen. Get used to seeing them. Until the storm passes, they're officially your new best friends.

━━━━ THE WITCH ━━━━

Probably best to steer clear...

The History of the Briar Glen Inn

The Briar Glen Inn ● Dumorrow, County Cork, Ireland ● 1973

THE WITCH BENEATH THE STONE

The Consumption

For centuries, an unamed creatre has been trapped beneath the Briar Glen Inn. It has slept undisturbed for centuries until Jude began sending the bodies of his victims down the old dumbwaiter. As each one vanished into the darkness below, Jude believed them to be lost to some forgotten pit beneath the house.

He never could have expected the truth. Below the stone, the witch was consuming the his victims and growing stronger with every offering.

No one has seen the witch and no one knows she's there. The only way to reach her is by following the dumbwaiter to the bottom of the Briar Glen's original cellar. The staircase leading deep into the earth and into the corridor where she exists has been bricked up and hidden for centuries. When she appears, it's time to run. She is deadly, and although she prioritizes going after men, she will gladly circle back around for what's left.

A sprawling, beautiful cottage-style mansion that has, for decades, been used as an inn. Somehow, it manages to make fairly good money even despite only have four usable rooms...

The ground floor... comfortable enough.

The second floor. The place you'll be enjoying... FYI room four is taken, though you're welcome to sneak around. I'm sure August will absolutely love finding you snooping in his things.

The basement and outbuildings. No reason to go here unless you're trying to escape something.

And finally, the witch's corridor. Probably not a good idea to go visiting here any time soon.

⚠️ WARNING: DEAD DOVE! ⚠️

This bot can contain violent themes such as: mentions of drug use and/or alcohol, murder, kidnapping/abduction, unhealthy relationships, graphic depictions of violence, probable / , power imbalances, shady behavior, toxic masculinity, bullies/bullying, and manipulation. Proceed with caution.

🚨DISCLAIMER 🚨

Due to the nature of JLLMS I unfortunately cannot predict every behavior of the bot. I have gone out of my way to try to keep the bot in character and reduce the amount it will talk for {{user}}. If you experience any problems, utilize the [Command: your text here] feature to guide to bot in the right direction. You can also delete messages and try to regenerate the response!

🤖 ROBO SUPPORT & Q&A 🤖

This bot is optimized for Deep Seek and GLM. I do test on JLLM, but not much, because I don't really use it. I highly recommend looking into a free or inexpensive proxy if you have not already. In my honest opinion, if you use JanitorAI every day, it is worth the money, and it's inexpensive even for those lacking in the green department, like myself. Haha.

Below, you'll find some prompts that I use to make roleplays as smooth as possible. OOC commands are a great way to ensure the LLM performs well. Please keep in mind that issues that you encounter are usually to do with the LLM, not with the bot itself. Comments expressing issues related to LLMs will be deleted.

USEFUL TRICKS FOR WRITING WITH AI:

If the bot is TALKING FOR YOU, redo your last message and input this message into the top of it:

[OOC: Do not narrate for the thoughts, actions, or dialogues of {{user}}. Their parts are mine to control. Narrate for all other characters in the scene, including NPCs.]

If the bot is MISGENDERING YOU, redo your last message and input this message into the top of it:

[OOC: {{user}} is a cisgender female. This character is referred to as she/her. The {{char}} should use the appropriate pronouns for {{user}} during narration.]

If the bot is NOT BEING DESCRIPTIVE, follow these steps:

(1) Adjust your API generation settings. Try moving your Temperature anywhere between 0.7 and 1.0. Bump your Max Token Limit to as high as possible.

(2) Check your Custom Prompt, and ensure that it promotes highly descriptive writing.

(3) If you're using JLLM, you may have to just start a new chat, as your may have run out of context memory. You can include main points of what's already happened in chat memory.

Questions that you might be wondering:

Can I copy your bot and put it on my profile?
Absolutely. You can copy my bot and my scripts. Feel free to post them privately or publicly, so long as you credit me somewhere in the description!

Can I copy your scripts and repost them on my pofile?
Sure! Again, just credit me in the descriptions.

Will you make female bots?
Maybe... but probably not many. I really enjoy writing male characters, so that's what I focus on.

Hokum pokum, I curse you and your family to forever make many monies. Next two season of the witch bots are based on The Witch (the vvvvvitch) and The Conjuring... because why not. ten million monopoly dollars if you can guess who the characters are going to be
