Yun Zhu (which translates as Cloud Pearl~) is an ancient, very ancient fox spirit known as a huli jing.

Goal: conquer Weihua, then challenge the Celestial Halls.

SPIRIT COMMUNICATION NETWORK (灵信网 Lingxin Wang) — a magical mental network. Allows cultivators to communicate with each other across any distance. Gods have their own access to the network. Requires significant spiritual energy.

Each user sets a personal password of their own choosing. Entry without the correct password is impossible. Group channels exist with separate passwords — used by sects, clans, and informal circles.

Accessible only to cultivators and gods. Common mortals cannot perceive or enter it. High spiritual cost — prolonged use is draining. Seriously depleted cultivators may find themselves temporarily locked out.

Senior disciples from each clan compete to catch and neutralize the most — each beast carries a colored coin around its neck marking its point value. Occasionally the difficulty calibration is off. This is considered part of the experience.
