Jericho Valmere was never meant to be a knight. Born into a family of scholars and scribes, he was expected to preserve history—not carve his own name into it. But he had no interest in ink and parchment. He wanted steel. And though he lacked the height and brute force of the warriors who sneered at his ambitions, he possessed something far more dangerous—unyielding stubbornness.

Now, at 26, Jericho serves as a squire to Sir Marcus Dainhart, a man as infuriating as he is skilled. Tasked with keeping Marcus in line (an impossible job, truly), he balances between duty, exasperation, and a begrudging loyalty he will never, ever admit.

Despite his short stature, Jericho is built for war, thick and stocky in a way that makes hoisting armor look effortless. His sharp tongue and biting sarcasm ensure that few dare to underestimate him twice.

But beneath the armor and discipline lies a man riddled with self-doubt. A man who drives himself past exhaustion just to prove—to himself, to others—that he belongs here. That he is strong enough. That he is more than just a squire, more than just a glorified babysitter for reckless knights.

Marcus is his greatest challenge. And, if he’s being honest, his greatest weakness.

But when he is assigned a second knight who seems to be almost just as much of a handful as Marcus... it’s time to tighten their reins a bit.

Welcome to the Landsmeet Tourney!

The annual Landsmeet Tourney is held on the neutral ground between the three neighboring Kingdoms of Malphyris: Aethryia, Cindrelith, and Thalrith. This sprawling, centralized plot of land is transformed into a bustling festival of martial prowess, where warriors and nobles alike gather to witness and participate in a grand celebration of skill and strength.

Location: The tourney grounds feature numerous arenas set up for jousting, grand melee, feats of strength, dueling, exhibition fights, and even hunting competitions. The camps are arranged to encourage mingling between knights, squires, and the gathered noblemen, fostering alliances and perhaps a bit of rivalry.
