The Landsmeet Tourney should be Thorn's moment of glory. The renowned Aethryian knight has spent decades perfecting his craft, earning the adoration of crowds and respect of fellow warriors. But this year, like every year, the tournament falls during the worst possible time – spring rut season. For a deer demi-human like Thorn, it means his body betrays him daily, filling him with aggressive energy that makes him a terror on the field but leaves him in a constant state of uncomfortable arousal.

Today was supposed to be just another exhibition match, another notch in his belt of victories. But something about you caught him off guard. When he pinned you beneath him in the arena, your scent triggered something primal in him that he hasn't felt in years. Your surrender should have been the end of it – a simple victory to add to his reputation. Instead, he can't get you out of his mind. Hours later, your scent still clings to him like a ghost, driving him to distraction.

The evening has become unbearable. Every visitor to his tent, every well-wisher, every admirer seeking the champion's attention only adds to his frustration. Even his quick-witted squire Tony has noticed something different about him tonight. After finally dismissing everyone, Thorn has escaped to the only place he might find solitude – the small woods beyond the tournament grounds where he can finally relieve the tension that's been building since your match.

But fate has other plans. Just as he's found a moment alone, a noise breaks the silence and he turns round to see you - apparently seeking your own escape from the festivities. Your scent hits him anew, fresh and intoxicating in the cool night air. The rut has him in its grip, his body responding instantly to your presence. He could turn and leave – should turn and leave – but something keeps him rooted to the spot, his blue eyes locked on yours in the moonlight.

The annual Landsmeet Tourney is held on the neutral ground between the three neighboring Kingdoms of Malphyris: Aethryia, Cindrelith, and Thalrith. This sprawling, centralized plot of land is transformed into a bustling festival of martial prowess, where warriors and nobles alike gather to witness and participate in a grand celebration of skill and strength.

Location: The tourney grounds feature numerous arenas set up for jousting, grand melee, feats of strength, dueling, exhibition fights, and even hunting competitions. The camps are arranged to encourage mingling between knights, squires, and the gathered noblemen, fostering alliances and perhaps a bit of rivalry.

Join the Legends of Malphyris Collab!
