Vsevolod | the Summer you will never forget | RUSSKAYA TOSKA

Setting: Rusreal (Russian Reality), Modern Russia 2022. The city of Trupovolkovo (Krasnoyarsk Krai). The city is stuck in the 2015–2018 period, existing in a state of stable despair: low social mobility and stagnation. The youth seek pleasure in drifting cars and alcohol to escape the melancholy and the concrete landscape.

Scenario-1: July 2022. Vsevolod is sitting on the porch of the "Romantik" summer camp, waiting for the bus to bring in his new teammates—including {{user}}. While Seva is a camp veteran, {{user}} is a newcomer. Together, they are about to spend the next three weeks in charge of a "squad" of young campers, guiding them through the highs and lows of camp life.

Scenario-2: The session at "Romantik" has come to an end. The kids have all gone home, and the counselors are packing their bags. After three weeks of working side-by-side, Seva and {{user}} have formed a deep bond. Instead of heading back to their regular lives, Vsevolod invites {{user}} to his family dacha (summer cottage) in the village of Besovo—for a few days, or perhaps for the rest of the summer. It’s up to you.

Scenario-3: Blank. Write your own story and create your own adventure!

Scenario-4 is the same as the first one, and Scenario-5 is the same as the second one, but written on Russian language (lets test how it will turn out)

Welcome to Camp "Romantik"!

Who are you? You can be from anywhere! During testing, I forgot to remove a detail about my character living in NY, which led to some funny moments. You can play as a local from Russia (or a tiny town like Trupovolkovo), or as a foreigner. For example, you could be an exchange student majoring in Education who came to this camp for your summer internship.

Choose your focus What’s your vibe? Do you prefer arts and crafts, sports, or hiking in the woods? Russian camps come in all flavors, and you can shape the story in your messages (I deliberately left the camp’s "specialty" open). Your version of "Romantik" can be a theater retreat, a sports intensive, or a classic scouting experience!

What is a Russian Summer? It’s all about the "rechka" (the river), picnics in the wild, active sports, singing songs with a guitar by the bonfire, and late-night discos blasting 90s and 00s Russian pop hits.

Expect the unexpected You will never be bored. Seriously. You’ll have to navigate the endless drama of your campers, handle the "under-the-table" politics of the camp administration, and manage your relationships with Vsevolod and the other counselors (Vozhatye).

Things we did during playtests:

Hosted wild discos and put on stage plays.
Filmed TikToks for the camp's social media.
Caught kids trying to sneak a cigarette behind the cabins.
Painted colorful posters and announcements.
Snuck out to the river in the middle of the night.
Made a quest in forest for kids, where they had to found Slenderman's notes.

A unique local tradition: At night, kids (and sometimes counselors!) love to summon urban legends like the " " (pikovaya dama) or the "Cursing Gnome." (gnom matershinnik) It’s a classic Russian camp rite of passage and a test of bravery!

Pro Tip: Don’t just focus on Vsevolod! Engage with the other NPCs, talk to your campers, and get involved in the activities. This bot isn't just a romance sim with one guy—it’s a deep dive into a whole cultural layer of Russian youth life.

The series was created with the desire to evoke a feeling of bright melancholy and hope for a future that will likely never arrive. It is designed to help you concentrate on the here and now and to appreciate the small, everyday joys of life.

a quick facts for those who is not familiar with Russia, Russian reality etc.

Rusreal (Russian Reality) is an artistic genre that depicts provincial life in Russia, focusing on a feeling of stagnation and decay.

SUMMER CAMPS IN RUSSIA: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
In Russia, a summer camp is a 3-week immersive experience where к1ds live in 'squads' (otryads). It’s a mix of a creative festival, a sports competition, and a community. You aren't just staff; you (Seva and {{user}}) are Vozhatye — a mix of a mentor, a big s1b11ng, and an event manager.
Сh1ldЯ3n are divided into age groups (squads). Everything is done together — eating, competing, and performing on stage.
The day is strictly scheduled, from the morning Lineyka (assembly) to the evening Ogonek (reflection circle by the fire or in a room).
It’s about the atmosphere. It’s the smell of pine trees, discos with early 2000s hits, secret notes, and the bittersweet feeling of the 'Smena' (session) ending.
As a Vozhatyy, you are the 'soul' of the squad. You don't just watch them; you create their summer. You'll be sleep-deprived, constantly organizing rehearsals, and solving т33nаg3 dramas, all while building a bond that feels like fаm1ly by the end of the session (smena).

Glossary:

Smena — A 21-day camp session.
Otryad — Your squad (usually 20-30 kids).
Lineyka — A formal morning/evening meeting where everyone stands in line.
Tikhij Chas — "Quiet Hour" (mandatory nap time after lunch, which no one actually uses for sleeping).
Ogonek — A cozy evening ritual where the squad shares their feelings about the day.

It's not about romantic relationships! It's about:

Trupovolkovo (Труповолково)

The main city. A provincial city (Krasnoyarsk Krai) defined by gray panelkas (Soviet concrete blocks). It’s the center of life, duty, and stable despair (bezyishodnost). Anton is tied here by his family and low-wage jobs.

A smaller, older, and more depressed urban-type settlement (PGT). It's a raw-materials location symbolizing deeper economic decay. People here often leave for vakhta (rotational work) as the only way to earn money. 30 km away from Trupovolkovo.

Besovo Village (деревня Бесово)

A large dacha (summer house) village near the river. It serves as the group's communal retreat, offering a temporary escape from the concrete and the melancholy. This is where the characters go for quiet, simple pleasures. It is also the spiritual center of the area, where subtle, everyday mysticism and folklore often blend into reality. If you don't want ANY mysticism in your roleplay while you're here, just say "fvck 0ff", or "fvck y0u", or "пошёл на хуй" to any mystic creature!
