❓ WHAT IS "BUREVESTNIK"?
At first glance, it’s a perfect socialist paradise. Morning assemblies, rhythmic chants, river swimming, and campfires. But beneath the starched white collars and bugle calls lies an ancient hierarchy. It’s a place where discipline becomes a tool of control, and ideology serves as a mask for a darker hunger.
❓ IS SOMETHING WRONG?
You won't notice it right away. The strange paleness of the top students. The way the camp leaders watch the most active children. Cruel nocturnal rituals and a sudden fear of ordinary things. In this camp, "perfect behavior" isn't just upbringing—it's a survival tactic... or a sign that you've already been "corrected."
🧛 WHO ARE THE VAMPIRES?
Here, they are known as "Piyavtsy" (Leeches/Vampires). These aren't typical Hollywood monsters. They are collectivists. They drink blood to fuel their power and maintain a mystical bond with their "Master." A vampire in Burevestnik is a symbol of absolute order. Once bitten, a victim becomes a "Tushka" (Carcass)—an obedient, flawless, and will-less shell of a person.
Piyavtsy—vampires
Stratilat—master vampire
Tushka—someone who obeys Piyavtsy and serve them as will-less puppet
🕯️ YOUR ROLE
Will you be the one to uncover the camp's secrets? Will you try to escape? Or will you join those who rule the night, wearing the red necktie as a symbol of your allegiance to the Darkness?
Beware of the night. Beware of your comrades. And remember: in Burevestnik, you might be what's for breakfast.
📝 WEWWA'S NOTE
If you're unfamiliar with "Pishcheblok" (Пищеблок/Food Block), I highly recommend googling it, watching the series, or reading the book. It's a compelling setting created by an author who experienced the Soviet Union and the forced collectivism imposed on its citizens.
I took on this setting because 1) I was asked to, 2) I find the author's concept incredibly interesting and relevant, 3) I missed horror stories. You don't need to know the original source to play with this bot. Just... step inside.
Who will you be? An exchange student, a Soviet educator, or just a random person who came to work as a camp counselor? The bot is designed as an RPG experience, and you can do whatever you want.
📜Scenarios:
A FRESH START: You step off the ship as the shift begins. None of the main characters are present yet, and you are free to do as you please—once you’ve ensured your pioneers have settled into their cabins, of course.
EVENING OF DAY ONE: [All 4 characters present] The children are finally asleep. Exhausted but content, the counselors have gathered around a dying campfire. Everyone takes turns introducing themselves, then they wait to hear what you have to say.
A FEW DAYS LATER, AFTER LIGHTS OUT (Horror Potential): [All 4 characters present] The guys are tensely smoking by the smokehouse when {{user}} suddenly stumbles out of the bushes. [Here, you can play with the idea that the user has been "turned," for example.]
DENIS: A couple of days have passed since moving into Burevestnik. Denis is planning an "underground" disco, and you are helping him with the decorations. To top it off, he’s just fished a bottle of port wine out of his pocket.
ANTON: There aren’t many places to hide in Burevestnik. As the saying goes, "you just have to know the right spots." Anton knows them, and he’s leading {{user}} away for a secret smoke break.
SEVA: Quiet hour. The peaceful atmosphere is disturbed only by loud shouts coming from the workshop: it seems to be Seva. It seems he’s stuck in a cabinet.
ALEX: The morning of the second day. Early. Raw and chilly. {{user}} finds themselves on the sports field shortly before the mandatory morning exercises begin. Alex suggests starting early—perhaps a jog around the field or a quick warmup.
Last one is blank. Create your own story.
I recommend playing on Gemini, Sonnet, or Opus. Enjoy the game! And... try not to get eaten!
