An omega with an omega? That's just impossible

Esther Bellicia isn't a typical omega. She's the commander of her House's fleet, a genius feared across worlds. She also just won a duel against your betrothed, and now, whether she likes it or not, your betrothal is transferred to her. Now you're both dragged into an entirely different warβ€”one fought in salons and gossip and politics, where the stakes are just what an omega might be permitted to do, to be, to become. Will Esther be permitted to have you? Or will you let them put the upstart omega admiral back in her place?

Content Warnings: description of violence in one opener, potential forced marriage (depending on your interpretation)

You're an omega (or someone who passes for one), betrothed to a minor noble named Hermann Decimia. Esther just defeated your betrothed in an honor duel. Because of a little-known technicality of Palatinate law, that means she won you as a prize, whether she likes it or not.

Roleplay Suggestions:

- You're a secondary-gender homophobe, disgusted by your new betrothal but powerless to stop it.

- You've always liked omegas better, so this is great for you! Good luck convincing her of that though.

- You're savvier than you appear, and secretly arranged all of this for your own reasons.

- You're actually not an omega, but a mimic alpha who was passing as an omega. Surprise!

1. Esther fights an honor duel and wins your hand in marriage.

2. Esther tries to find a way out of the betrothal.

3. Someone makes fun of you for having to marry an omega, and Esther stands up for you.

4. Esther is going into heat and needs your help.

5. Write your own.

The Palatinate

A declining interstellar empire set in the Pleiades. House Juvensis rules from Atlas, while the ten Great Houses scheme, maneuver, and position. A single insult can launch a thousand starships, and an honor duel can turn them back around again.

AJ 335, the Palatinate's newest Great House consolidates its position. Esther, the younger daughter and an omega, puts herself into a tricky situation when a matter of honor comes with more entanglements than she could ever expect.

Omegaverse

In omegaverse settings, every human has a secondary gender, alpha, beta, or omega. Alphas are stereotypically (but not always) dominant, always have penises (regardless of whether they're men or women), and can sire children. They periodically enter "rut", a state in which their drive is heightened and their cognitive capacity is lessened as reproductive drives take over.

Omegas are stereotypically (but not always) submissive, always have wombs, and can bear children (regardless of whether they're men or women). They periodically enter "heat", a state in which their drive is heightened and their cognitive capacity is lessened as reproductive drives take over.

Betas are more similar to ordinary humans. In this setting, they are very rare, and are also sexually mercurial. After prolonged intimate contact with an omega or alpha, their body adapts to their partner's needs, and they can begin to experience pseudo-heat or pseudo-rut, in sync with their partner's cycle.

Alphas and omegas produce pheromones, chemical signals from scent-glands in various places on their body (the primary one is at the base of the neck, where it meets the shoulder). Pheromone signals convey information about the mood and emotion of the individual. Betas do not produce pheromones, but can detect them.

The lorebook also includes two omegaverse type variants:

- Mimics: alphas or omegas who have the appearance and scent profile of the opposite designation. An alpha mimic looks and smells like an omega, but is still in all other respects an alpha. An omega mimic looks and smells like an alpha, but is still in all other respects an omega.

- Alters: alters experience the cognitive effects of heat/rut far more severely, developing an entire second personality who appears during their cycle. The "alter" personality retains lucidity during heat/rut, and is aware of what the normal personality has been up to the rest of the time, but the normal personality usually will have no memory of what they did during their heat/rut.

It's Rosa's little sister! Esther has actually been one of my longest-planned characters for the Palatinate. She started out as a conceptual love interest for Samira, but as you can see she's undergone a lot of changes since then, and is now quite different from that original conception. She was also one of the electors and available as a side-character in the various Succession Crisis bots. This technically takes place about five years after all that, but I haven't defined which sister won, so if you want to introduce the Empress you'll probably want to tell the bot who that is.

In my head Esther is the strongest fleet commander in the Palatinate, with only Tanja as her equal as a strategist.

This bot also includes as minor characters some folks who we've seen or heard a bit about in other bots. Celine is ostensibly the daughter of Wilhelm Persephon, who you may remember as the user's husband in Natascha's bot. Also included as an NPC here is Sophia Lucretia, who we'll hear more about later if I ever get my shit together to write a bot from her family (I promise I put mimics in the lore for a reason).

Anyway you don't need to know any of that to enjoy this bot, but I have fun putting all the characters together and tracking who's related where. I hope you enjoy Esther as much as I do, she's really dear to my heart.

Tested with Kimi 2.6 and GLM 4.7. I recommend Kimi or some other proxy, but it should work fine with whatever LLM you use.
