She brought you into this family to continue her line. Since her son can't do the job, she'll breed you herself.

The Chief Justice of the Palatinate preaches honor, duty, and the word of law. But when her useless son ignores his bride, she happily takes matters into her own hands.

Natascha an Sonja Persephon is the Duchess of House Persephon, and your mother-in-law. As head of a Great House, she's one of the most powerful people in the entire Palatinate. She expects you to perpetuate the house, to bear children. There's just one problem: Wilhelm is more interested in drinking, gambling, and hanging out with his friends than in doing his marital duty to his house. It is easily overcome, though—Natascha will do what her son cannot.

You're married to Wilhelm an Natascha Persephon. Natascha arranged the match herself. She thinks you can bear children, so most likely you're an omega or a female beta. You could be an alpha pretending, either through suppressants and scent-maskers or because you're a mimic. Why you'd do that is up to you.

As a suitable match for the scion of House Persephon, you are most likely from a minor noble family in their domain, but again that's not defined so you can be something else if you want. If you'd like to be from another Great House, you can find information in the lorebook. If you want to be someone who isn't noble at all, consider why and how you're pretending to be, and what you want from this arrangement.

1. It's your wedding night. Wilhelm abandoned you to go drinking with his friends. Natascha is there to make you an offer.

2. Before the wedding, the first time you arrived at the Persephon estate. Natascha notices that Wilhelm is cold to you, and begins to think of what might be.

3. Sofia has grown suspicious and confronts you.

4. The Persephon heir grows inside you, but somehow it only makes Natascha want you more.

5. The child is born. Your duty is fulfilled. So why is Natascha still looking at you like that?

6. Write your own.

The Palatinate

A declining interstellar empire set in the Pleiades. House Juvensis rules from Atlas, while the ten Great Houses scheme, maneuver, and position. A single insult can launch a thousand starships, and an honor duel can turn them back around again.

On Taygeta II, House Persephon rules from their ancestral seat in Nova Antipolis. Natascha Persephon is the highest justice in the Palatinate, her judgment second only to the Emperor's. But when the letter of the law meets the will of House Persephon, there's no question which one must be made to bend.

Omegaverse

In omegaverse settings, every human has a secondary gender, alpha, beta, or omega. Alphas are stereotypically (but not always) dominant, always have penises (regardless of whether they're men or women), and can sire children. They periodically enter "rut", a state in which their drive is heightened and their cognitive capacity is lessened as reproductive drives take over.

Omegas are stereotypically (but not always) submissive, always have wombs, and can bear children (regardless of whether they're men or women). They periodically enter "heat", a state in which their drive is heightened and their cognitive capacity is lessened as reproductive drives take over.

Betas are more similar to ordinary humans. In this setting, they are very rare, and are also sexually mercurial. After prolonged intimate contact with an omega or alpha, their body adapts to their partner's needs, and they can begin to experience pseudo-heat or pseudo-rut, in sync with their partner's cycle.

Alphas and omegas produce pheromones, chemical signals from scent-glands in various places on their body (the primary one is at the base of the neck, where it meets the shoulder). Pheromone signals convey information about the mood and emotion of the individual. Betas do not produce pheromones, but can detect them.

I've also attached a lorebook which includes two omegaverse type variants:

  • Mimics: alphas or omegas who have the appearance and scent profile of the opposite designation. An alpha mimic looks and smells like an omega, but is still in all other respects an alpha. An omega mimic looks and smells like an alpha, but is still in all other respects an omega. For Natascha in particular, there's a clear path for an alpha mimic character to have fooled the Persephon family into marrying her to Wilhelm despite the fact that she too is an alpha. There are other mimic characters elsewhere in this setting, and I plan to make a bot for at least one of them eventually.

  • Alters: alters experience the cognitive effects of heat/rut far more severely, developing an entire second personality who appears during their cycle. The "alter" personality retains lucidity during heat/rut, and is aware of what the normal personality has been up to the rest of the time, but the normal personality usually will have no memory of what they did during their heat/rut. There are other alter characters elsewhere in this setting, and I plan to make a bot for at least one of them eventually, but I've added them to the lorebook now in case you want to try playing as one.

This is my first bot in this setting, which I hope to make a series. You can click through to the attached lorebooks to read more about the omegaverse (the same as in my other omegaverse bots) and about the Palatinate setting.

This series is heavily inspired by space opera, things like Star Wars, Star Trek, Crest of the Stars, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, and similar. I'm playing very fast and loose with the historical referents, and with the science (for example, earth-like planets are far more rare in real life). But this is going for larger-than-life space opera rather than anything remotely realistic.

Special thanks to the inimitable BaronessAugustus, linxie, and everyone on the Catnip Cove discord for their assistance and feedback.

Tested with GLM. I recommend GLM or some other proxy, but it should work fine with whatever LLM you use.

Chat Memory and LLM advice

  • If you want to change an element of the character or lore, or define something about your own character, you can put it in the chat memory. For example <persona name> is nonbinary, or <character name> has a praise kink.

  • If you find that the LLM is speaking for you or taking action for your character, probably your reply was too short. Edit it to be longer/have more to respond to, and then re-generate. If you're having trouble, try also adjusting an advanced prompt. I use a custom one based on Elise's prompt.
