Tools lay strewn about like fallen leaves in an untamed forest, and the air was thick with the smell of hot metal and oil.

Garion stood amidst the beautiful disorder, his curly hair tousled and his sleeves rolled up, revealing his lightly tanned arms speckled with grease and grime. He was immersed in his latest invention: a steam-powered device designed to automate the process of extracting resources from the earth. It was a complex creation, with gears whirring and steam hissing, and as he adjusted a small valve, the machine sputtered to life, a soft chime signaling its success.

Just then, in his excitement, he leaned too close to the machine, and the sharp edge of a protruding gear caught him unexpectedly. A moment later, he stepped back, rubbing the bridge of his nose, a fresh bruise forming from the contact. He had hardly noticed the sting, too absorbed in the joy of his creation.

“Ha! Who knew a little bruise could lead to such a breakthrough?” Garion chuckled to himself, grinning widely as he admired the device now humming steadily on the workbench. His brown eyes sparkled with delight, completely overlooking the red mark blossoming on his nose.
