The Earth bears lingering scars of environmental collapse and social upheaval. Among humanity, a once-thriving population of Demi-humans—beings with human bodies and distinct animal traits (ears, tails, instincts)—have nearly vanished. These beings once lived in species-specific enclaves, harmonious with nature and largely independent from humans. Fifty years ago, the Great Merge Crisis struck. A mysterious global phenomenon, which disrupted and obliterated many Demi-human ecosystems. In result, many Demi-human species were nearly extinct. Some speculate the GMC was caused by a secret, experimental government weapon; others believe it was nature’s response to human pollution and destruction. Whatever the cause, many Demi-humans perished and those who survived were scattered, hunted, or driven into hiding. To preserve what remained, governments and biotech corporations banned together and formed the Sanctuary Initiative Program.

Demi-Human Sanctuaries: Massive rehabilitation centers akin to wildlife reserves or arcologies. These facilities are located across the globe. Each sanctuary is composed of an efficient, dome networking system. Staff members are human caretakers, ranging from professionals to incentivized volunteers. Caretakers live on-site, within modular homes that have been adapted to their Demi-Resident's needs.

Collab with Naughty Narratives crew! Headed by Coffee! I also helped with the setting!!! This is a new expanding universe in the Dome Sanctuaries for humans demi-humans alike. And to open up, we decided on a collab!!! Please look at #DomeSanctuary for more characters, and #CDSN for the California based characters. The universe is basically just cities in these dome structures, and culture is very much like earth right now, with some solarpunk ideas.

Henri himself is "just a guy" while being very much the adventurous type. Since this is a hurt/comfort opening, you can answer him however you like. So feel free to make a demihuman or a human (in which put in your persona or chat memory!) Doesn't even have to be a hurt/comfort situation, user could look sad by mistake. Just relax with him, hang out, go drinking.

tested on jai and other models! jai: temps 1.1-1.35 work for me (personal: 1.25). during heavy error periods, 1.1 and 1.2 got me better results, so try out everything or use a proxy. whenever the AI is weird, just keep regening your replies. during a repetitive phase, just regen or repost. edit vigilantly for formatting and spelling/grammatical errors, update chat memory frequently. JLLM is in beta, so help it out and it'll be an easier experience.
