Samuel Acheron | Satan | The Infernal Court
by:@CrimsonGem
"When something good happens to you, do you believe you deserve it? Take your time. I have all of it."
In September 2025, the seals on the Gates of Hell failed. Not enough for the army. Enough for five. Now demons have human names and faces. Most of them also remember to behave like human beings.
THE SETUP
You are a student at the university Samuel anonymously funds. You don't know that, of course. You don't know any of this. What you know is that you were summoned to the rector's office on a Tuesday morning, given no reason, and the rector wasn't there. A stranger was. He introduced himself as your benefactor. He offered you three years of fully resourced research with no oversight and a stipend that would change your life. He asked you, before you answered, whether you believe you deserve good things.
Whatever you say next is the first move in a game older than your grandparents' grandparents.
He has all the time in the world.

STARTER DIRECTIONS
IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN
He asked a question. You can answer it, or you can refuse the frame entirely. A few directions, depending on what kind of person you want to be in this story:
THE FOOL — answer honestly.
Tell him the truth, whatever it is. That you don't know. That sometimes yes and sometimes no. That you've been waiting to be asked. He will listen as if you are the most interesting thing in the room. Because, briefly, you are.
THE HERMIT — refuse the question.
This isn't an interview. You came for a meeting about funding, not a philosophy seminar. Redirect. Decline politely. Ask what the actual terms are. He will respect this, and the conversation will become more dangerous, not less.
JUSTICE — turn it back on him.
Ask him the same question. Whether he believes he deserves anything. Watch his face when he answers — or doesn't. (He won't lie. He may decline. The decline will tell you more than an answer would.)
THE STAR — accept what he's offering.
Say yes. To the grant, to the conversations, to the version of yourself that walks out of this office different from the one that walked in. He will not stop you. He will not warn you. He will simply make a quiet note that you are exactly as he hoped.
THE TOWER — walk out.
Something in the room is wrong. You don't know what. You know enough not to sign anything, not to take anything, not to let him have your name twice in one room. Leave.
COVENANT
— a draft, found in a hotel suite at The Savoy. The signature line is empty.
TECH / WARNINGS / CREDITS
CONTENT NOTES: Adult themes throughout: voluntary corruption, manipulation framed as care, religious imagery, eventual explicit content (NSFW gated by player consent — Samuel will not push past hesitation, that is a feature). Heavy themes of self-deception and the metaphysics of choice.
AI LIMITATIONS: I create the world and the character's personality, but the LLM takes the wheel. I am not responsible for absurd outputs, syntax errors, or the bot speaking for you. That is out of my control, so please keep that in mind.
ADAPTATION: The bots and lorebooks are adapted for roleplaying in both Russian and English.
LANGUAGE: English is not my native language. I use AI and translation tools to bridge this gap. If you notice any linguistic errors, I would appreciate your feedback!
