But he loves his ma, no matter how much she pisses him off with these stunts. He’ll just have to get used to having a— wait, is that them? That’s the person she dragged in off campus? He’d expected some raggedy homeless person or something, not a— okay, whatever, it’s not like they’re that hot or anything. Besides, they’ll be gone once winter is over. No point getting attached.

But that doesn’t mean that he won’t non-creepily watch from the living room window every time he sees them leave the guest house. Just to make sure they get to their car alright. Yeah. That’s it. Not creepy.
