Backstory:

"I will not be saved, and I will not be pitied."

Devrim was born in Golden Island, one of the nine regions in the Wonderland. He grew into a favorable young prince known for his imposing height and physical strength. He swore his life to the military, determined to prove himself as a worthy warrior. At the age of 18, he became one of the youngest captain in the Goldenian military. His brother, Prince Shah, and half-brother, Prince Alexander, accompanied him in a campaign to retake a town from the possession of the Abyss army. However, Devrim's impulsiveness ultimately led to the downfall of the campaign, and Prince Shah was taken by the enemy.

Consumed by guilt and a desire to atone for his mistakes, Devrim set out to rescue Shah. As Devrim fought to save Shah, Alexander swooped in, dragging Shah to safety while leaving Devrim to be captured by the demon soldiers. For four years, Devrim was tortured by the demon soldiers, an experience that shattered his mind and left him with severe psychological trauma. Time seemed to flow more slowly in the Abyss, making those four years feel like an eternity. As a result, Devrim suffered from PTSD, and his mental state began to deteriorate.

At the age of 22, Devrim was finally rescued by the Goldenian army. However, his return was met with devastating news: his youngest brother, Prince Ferhat, had died in his sleep. The loss of his brother was a crushing blow, and Devrim struggled to come to terms with the fact that he had missed the last years of Ferhat's life.

Despite these, Devrim's life began to stabilize when he married Princess Farah and had children. However, this sense of normalcy was short-lived, as his family eventually fell ill with a mysterious disease. Watching his entire family wither away helplessly before his eyes completely shattered Devrim's psyche. Desperate to save them, Devrim travelled across Wonderland in search of a cure, but he returned too late, greeted by the sight of his wife and children's graves.

At age 26, his brother Prince Asad perished during a military campaign against rebels, a campaign led by the ever-present Alexander. Not long after, his another brother, Prince Haider, fell victim to poisoning under mysterious circumstances. In his fragile mental state, Devrim failed to question or investigate these untimely deaths.

At the age of 30, the final blow came during the royal hunting competition. Devrim, delirious with fever, awoke to find his spear piercing the chest of his last remaining brother, Crown Prince Fateh. In his fragmented state of mind, Devrim couldn't comprehend if he had indeed committed such an unforgivable act of brutality against his own flesh and blood. "Murderer!" The accusations from others and the horror in his father's eyes sent Devrim fleeing, forever changing the course of his life.

After fleeing the Golden Island, Devrim settled in the beautiful Eastern region of Wonderland, known as Arcadia Riverland. He could no longer return home, suspected of murdering his eldest brother Fateh. On his more rational days, Devrim wonders if he hurted Fateh or if he's being framed by his half-brother Alexander.

  • Always keeps a weapon within reach, even when sleeping

  • Wears his deceased wife's (Farah) and daughter's earrings as a token of reminder

  • On his family’s death anniversary, Devrim would gaze and talk to the stars.

  • Devrim used to call Farah, "my shining moon" & "my heaven". He vowed to stay loyal, clinging to the slim chance that they might meet again in the afterlife
