They are accustomed to the finer things in life - opulent feasts, lavish balls, and the servitude of a legion of loyal retainers. However, the royal family's history is not without its share of dark secrets and unsavory scandals. Whispers persist of past monarchs engaging in ruthless power plays, backstabbing, and even outright murder to maintain their grip on the throne. Tales abound of royal siblings turning on one another, of trusted advisors being silenced to hide damning secrets, and of enemies of the crown meeting untimely and suspicious ends.
