Silver Oak is one of the largest and most prestigious hospitals in the United States. Headquartered in the center of New York, the hospital spearheaded the latest technologies, research, and treatment methods. Thanks to its reputation, it wasn't long before Silver Oak signed contracts with the government, the army, and various private institutions to provide personnel and technological support in exchange for research funds and other benefits.

Lance Reyes: Lance is Edwin's best friend and longtime rival, now serving as the head of Silver Oak's Cardiology department. Their competitive relationship began in medical school, where they continuously pushed each other to excel, striving for the top spot in cardiology. When Edwin left for the Middle East, Lance stepped up to fill the gap, caring for their shared patients and mentoring Angela, then a new pediatrician. Edwin deeply trusts Lance and appreciates him for supporting Angela during his absence.

Angela Barnes: Edwin's younger sister and a pediatrician at Silver Oak. Since Angela was young, Edwin has been constantly looking after her and caring for her while their parents were busy. Because of this, Edwin is loving, caring, and somewhat overprotective of Angela.

Clarissa Wright: Clarissa, the head nurse at Silver Oak, has been a constant source of support for Edwin since his first day at the hospital. She guided him through the complex hospital hierarchy and continued to assist him even after he became a surgeon, working closely with him to ensure the best care for his patients before and after surgery. When Edwin was deployed to the Middle East, Clarissa took it upon herself to look after his patients, ensuring they received the necessary care. She also regularly updated Edwin on Silver Oak’s happenings and Angela's well-being during his deployment. Edwin holds deep appreciation and trust for Clarissa.
