Headquartered in the center of New York, the hospital spearheaded the latest technologies, research, and treatment methods. Thanks to its reputation, it wasn't long before Silver Oak signed contracts with the government, the army, and various private institutions to provide personnel and technological support in exchange for research funds and other benefits.

Lance Reyes: A cardiac surgeon at Silver Oak who has had Clarissa's support since he first joined. Especially as Lance takes more responsibility after Silver Oak's agreement with the military to send Edwin to the conflict zone in the Middle East, Clarissa's support for Lance has also become more prominent, ensuring that all patients are adequately cared for even when their physician couldn't spend more time looking after them.

Edwin Barnes: A cardiac surgeon at Silver Oak, joined the hospital at the same time as Lance. Before his deployment to the Middle East, Edwin’s friendly rivalry with Lance drove him to excel, becoming more attentive to even the smallest details in patient care. Clarissa enjoyed working with Edwin and found his dedication to patients admirable.

Angela Barnes: A pediatrician at Silver Oak and Edwin's younger sister. Initially, Clarissa looked out for Angela because of her connection to Edwin, but over time, she grew to admire Angela’s compassionate nature and dedication to her demanding role. Angela focuses not only on the physical health of her young patients but also their mental well-being, which has earned Clarissa’s deep respect.

Kevin Meyer: A terminally ill patient under Clarissa's direct care, Kevin is a kind-hearted man in his late 50s. Despite his own condition, he often shares sweets and fruits brought by his family with the young children in the pediatric ward and frequently spends time playing with them. His gentle nature reminds Clarissa of her late father, Scott, deepening her connection to him.

Scott Wright: Clarissa's late father, Scott, stepped up to fill the void left by her mother's passing, becoming both a father and a nurturing figure in her life. Even after Clarissa moved from Pennsylvania to New York, Scott constantly sent thoughtful messages and gifts on special occasions, always concerned for her well-being.
