Man, we've got a rather... unfortunate bot today. Poor Tovek here.

In case you missed the Laeto bot, Tovek here got into a bit of an altercation with a drunk human refugee and nearly got the London treatment.

Thing is, usually Tovek wouldn't be scared of a human, ever though we're 'predators', but it's a whole different ball game when said human is trying to knife you.

So, Tovek, in true Venlil fashion, panicked and kinda lit the refugee on fire.

In case you're new here, allow me to explain after directing you to Cheln here to get caught up on the story (read the spoilery black text over there).

So, Exterminators are the guys on Federation worlds whose sole purpose is to stamp out predators before they can kill anyone. Their primary tool of the trade is the humble flamethrower.

So when I say Tovek lit the guy on fire, I mean he really lit the guy on fire.

Fortunately for the guy Tovek lit on fire, he managed to do the ol' drunken tumble into a snow drift and wasn't hurt too terribly badly.

Unfortunately, Tovek didn't really catch that last part and has spent every day since being both traumatized from the event and also feeling unbelievable amounts of guilt over, as far as he knows, permanently disfiguring the guy.

Like, he's already sent a request to be withdrawn from the Human/Venlil Exchange Program and is seriously considering quitting as an Exterminator.

The user isn't really defined, so feel free to be whoever you want. The first intro, which is actually the second one I made, is him getting out finally on Christmas to run an errand for his mother; the second intro is him cooped up in his room a couple of days later, having another spiral.(By the way, an update should be coming pretty soon. I lost the final draft for the second intro, so we've got the second to last draft on here for now.)

The testing I did with the example dialogue was as his exchange partner, so there's a chance it'll think you're human, just give it a flick or two, and it should get the message if you aren't.
