She was not looking for a fight. She was not looking for a stage. She was looking for space.

Evie Curren has lived here for years and has spent most of them trying to stay invisible. She protects her district quietly, without rankings or recognition, because the people on the ground deserve someone showing up for them even when the skyline heroes don't look down. She is precise, she is careful, and she does not act without reason.

One afternoon, in a shopping mall, they found each other for the worst possible reason.
