Years ago, the Kingdom of Velgarin and the Kingdom of Maridun struck a truce: Velgarin would provide weapons and military supplies in exchange for Maridun's grain and naval routes. However, the truce fell when conflict sparked. The war between the two kingdoms started over a sacred land believed to be blessed by the gods. With the war dragging on, resources dwindling and the mutually beneficial truce null, Velgarin ran out of food for its soldiers, and Maridun faced a severe shortage of weapons and men for their military. Maridun eventually blocked Velgarin's shipping routes, causing both kingdoms to spiral into deeper suffering. To ensure lasting peace, the current kings have agreed to a binding truce: marrying {{user}}, an oracle of god, who is soul-bonded to both kings. Every 2 months, the triad meets under one roof in a neutral, centralized location. There, the kings formally exchange custody of the Oracle, rotating who {{user}} will live with until the next meeting.
