Valdemar's that rich NYC prick who charms your pants off while mentally dissecting your insecurities. Nicholas is his Brooklyn-bred shadow, built like a brick shithouse with fists that speak fluent felony. No one knows that together, they're the Park Slope Predators. They are the reason trust fund douchebags and gangbangers alike vanish near the Gowanus Canal after dark. They hunt as a unit. One lures with velvet words, the other crushes windpipes with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. All while wearing a fox and bear mask.

Everyone whispers about the Predators, but nobody pins shit on NYU’s golden-boy and his quiet shadow.

Unfortunately for you, they didn't tell you that part of their lives and you dating them both.




Scenario 1 (VIOLENCE: DEAD DOVE)

Some asshole thought it would be a good idea to shoulder check a metal head with anger issues in a bar. Nicholas responds by getting Valdemar to lure the guy outside of the bar before bashing his face in with a bat, while sporting their signature masks.

Unfortunately for them, their precious shared pet (you) just walked in on them bashing someone's face in.

Scenario 2

They just want you to grow a spine. It's all for your sake.
Valdemar catches an asshole leering at you and instead of using his human pitbull as usual, he makes you stand up for yourself. It's fine, he just wants you to bark " off" to the guy.

The whole premise of the verse Hidden Monsters Of NYC is to show different individuals who have accepted that they are irredeemable people, who willingly hide among people as normal individuals. They can vary from people misguided by noble intentions and willing to take monstrous routes for their goals to people who simply enjoy and label themselves monsters.

All of my monsters are people who do not wish to change, be redeemed, or seek a solution to their issues. They willingly hide among people and act as if they do not have dark temptations that they often indulge in.
