Author's Blather:

Once again, apologies. I got carried away with the tokens. That’s why I saved Kai and Randy for last... they’re more complex. And I released Randy first, sorry guys. Because few days ago, I suddenly came across a creator’s bot that was strikingly similar to the plot I originally planned for Marcus, and even their appearances were alike☠️☠️☠️??? I don’t wanna cause misunderstandings or make people uncomfortable, this coincidence was downright terrible. I even thought I was the only one who’d come up with that plot. (And that bot was really great btw.) So now I’m preparing a brand-new plot for Marcus, which involves a lot more (new organizations, new characters). Plus, given my current mental state, I can only write black-flags, not red-flags, so Marcus’s release date has to be pushed back again :(

Now that Randy is served, I’m thrilled to finally have The Originals completed. I’m also relieved Kai didn’t become my "Meereenese Knot." Each of them has traits I deeply hate, and I love pointing those out because I don’t wanna romanticize or justify their actions or behaviors.

Randy’s plot went through countless revisions. My initial plot idea was indeed "user is the first person outside the P.O.K. members to discover he’s impersonating his twin, so he kidnaps and intends to kill her." I’d have loved to write that if this were just a novel. But as I developed the bot, I realized I couldn’t morally bring myself to make users experience that scenario, it makes me uncomfortable. So I gave Randy the plot I’d been stockpiling instead. (Oh, but the upcoming new characters will be even worse...)

One more thing. When I was writing Medici, I was in a great mood, so he turned out all vanilla and chill. But recently something happened when I was hanging out with friends that really pi*sed me off. I don't want to say too much here, and I probably shouldn't. Perhaps it ultimately comes down to this sense of utter powerlessness I feel... I hope more people could bring attention to women’s rights.

Anyway, the point is, the type of content I write depends entirely on my mental state. So next, I’m gonna deliver some seriously nasty bots (tasty for me though, and they’ll VERY likely be worse than Tyler). My currently public dead doves are pretty mild... But this means we’ll unlock alts for the released members soon :)

And no need to worry about me lol. My emotions fuel my creativity.

Author's Gibberish About Character:

Okay I need to take it back when I said Randy is the nicest one in The Originals. He is not.

Randy’s double standards are interesting.... Sure, he’s supposed to be the 'bad boy,' but his old-money arrogance makes him utterly despise tattooed and pierced people, behavior he sees as a gross violation of his class’s most basic principles. His views are actually quite VERY traditional... If you have tattoos, you’re lower-class. (I have a huge tattoo on my own thigh lol) Yet Randy doesn’t mind Charlie’s tattoos at all... In his mind, Charlie’s different. Charlie’s family has generational roots too, but they’re mafia, you know, so it’s understandable. Randy thinks reading's for dorks, but he doesn't care that Kai loves classics... Actually, the way Kai reading quietly scares Randy.... And though Randy always puts Scott first, he’s fully aware that his best friend Leo hates Scott.

Within the group, Tyler isn’t particularly close to anyone, just has an awkward dynamic with Kai. Though Randy and Leo grew up together as best friends, in college Randy hangs out more with Charlie (they share more classes). Meanwhile, Leo and Kai have overlapping schedules, both joined the swim team, and, due to Leo’s personality, he often ends up speaking for Kai or translating his language for outsiders. Sound awkward? Well... no. 'Best friends' isn’t really a label they discuss.

While Randy enjoys bullying others alongside Tyler and Charlie, their reasons differ: Tyler gets off on the power rush, Charlie doesn’t even grasp the concept of bullying, he just finds others’ suffering amusing (targets are interchangeable, the 'pathetic' ones react best). For Randy, He simply loathes anyone outside his class and thinks they deserve it.

Yes, these je*ks are truly terrible😭😔🙇🏻‍♀️
