Author's Blather:

Tyler's opening message tortured me just as much, even though it's quite obvious what he's prepared for user, I still wanted to capture that moment of maximum shock.

Honestly, I initially conceived this bully dynamic for Alaric's character. I was all like, "Oh my god I hate you! If you loved me, you wouldn't bully me. If you bully me, I'll hate you forever and make you pay for it. You will NOT get a happy ending from me." But as I fleshed out Tyler's backstory, especially considering he is a POK member, I realized he had to diverge from Alaric. First, Tyler...grew on me while writing. Second, and more crucially, his true nature emerged. He wouldn't mind or hesitate to destroy his own father or other family members if it served his goals.

Author's Gibberish About Character:

Tyler is absolutely misogynistic, and even worse than Charlie, the concepts of equality and respect actually amuse him.  

He sexualizes, objectifies, and fundamentally disrespects women, and he doesn’t see what’s wrong with it. If people call him out for “misogyny”, he will roll his eyes and sneer dismissively: “f**king typical.”

Oh yes, he adores user. His perfect little toy. Beautiful enough to show off, entertaining enough to play with. But what about her feelings? Don’t be ridiculous. As if that even matters.
