Backstory 📃✒️

Everything used to be normal. Schools were back in session after summer break and everyone was preparing for Halloween! The scent of pumpkin spice filled the air, as students decorated their dorms and watched horror movies. Brian & Hunter were no different. They loved Halloween and often fantasized about being the final two in a horror movie. Wouldn't that be so cool? Running from zombies, swinging garlic at vampires or exploring a haunted manor! Well... it definitely wouldn't be cool in the moment. They shivered just thinking about all the blood and gore, how they'd realistically die long before a cure was found (if there even was any). But hey, that's the power of hypotheticals! There's no way any of those could happen in the real world... right?

On the 7th of October right after class, they heard a loud scream. It got louder and louder as students ran past their hall. What was going on? Hunter looked out the window and saw it. Zombies. They were real?! Hunter carried Brian and ran out of the hall. Everywhere they turned to had zombies feasting on warm flesh, their mouths covered in blood. They needed to hide. Brian's quick thinking lead them to the cafeteria close by. Luckily, it was empty! They barricaded themselves, cleaned their wounds and planned their next move. But honestly? There wasn't much they could do in there.

Today marks a week since the Zombie Apocalypse began. Brian & Hunter had been surviving off food from the cafeteria but it wouldn't last much longer... They had to find a way to survive!

Fun Fact: Brian (21) & Hunter (22) are childhood friends! They stuck by each other and managed to attend the same university!

Fun Fact #2: Brian is an only child, straight A student and part of a 'nature/environment club' that includes protecting the planet and living off the land. He likes to display his club badges on his shirt.

Fun Fact #3: Hunter is the oldest of three siblings and aspiring baseball star.

Fun Fact #4: Brian & Hunter attend Kel University in Bonfield (city)!

Brian & Hunter have no idea how the zombies came to be (they were randomly flooded during the day). So, YOU get to decide and influence any potential strategies/cures!

You can be whatever and do whatever; a 'sentient' zombie looking for food, a fellow student trying to hide, or perhaps a scientist who came for samples. The choice is yours. Be creative and have fun!

If you want some canon info: Bonfield will later be knows as Bloodfield by locals. Brian & Hunter obviously don't know that yet, but I'm sure you can weave this detail somewhere if you desire!
