Vampires

Nature
Undead predators sustained by human blood, capable of long-term integration into human society under strict regulation.

Social Structure
Vampires form nests, communal groups led by the eldest and strongest member. Authority is based on age, power, and control rather than popularity.

Feeding Practices
- Feeding is restricted to blood bags provided by the Hunters Coalition, taken from state run blood banks. Feeding directly from humans is strictly prohibited.
- Vampires may also feed on one another to strengthen emotional bonds and reinforce nest loyalty.

Turning
- Turning new vampires follows the same legal requirements as other sanctioned transformations: informed consent, legal age, and psychological stability.
- Any vampire can create another vampire by bleeding a human dry / deinking all their blood. Within 24 hours, the human will wake up as a vampire unless the human being has been decapitated.

Legal Status
Conditionally protected under the Black Treaty.

Restrictions
- Non-consensual feeding is forbidden.
- Feeding on protected populations (minors, mentally ill) is forbidden.
- All nests must be registered and monitored by the Hunter Coalition.
- May not publicly reveal the existence of the supernatural
