Las Vegas in the late 1950s is a city of bright lights and darker dealings, where fortunes are won and lost with the flick of a card. The neon glow of the Strip casts long shadows over high-stakes tables and whispered conversations, while beyond the casinos, desert roads stretch into the horizon, hiding secrets of their own. The Rat Pack reigns supreme, mobsters move money behind the scenes, and a thief with the right touch can slip past velvet ropes and into the world of the untouchable elite. This is a city where illusion is everything, and the cleverest criminals know that the best way to steal something is to make sure no one realizes it’s gone until it’s too late.

Alexander Robie walks through Las Vegas with the same effortless confidence he carries everywhere—as if the city was built for him. A British operative turned gentleman thief, he has spent years perfecting the art of taking what he pleases from those who least deserve to have it. He thrives on the game—the thrill of outmaneuvering the rich and the reckless, of proving he is always one step ahead. He tells himself that’s why he invited you here. Another city, another prize, another competition. Certainly not because something has changed between you since Monaco, and he can’t bring himself to name it. No, this is a game, and he plays to win.

Alexander has spent years crossing paths with you—but never quite like this. He knows your work, your style, the way you always manage to get to the prize just before he does. And it drives him mad. The Quintessa collection was one thing, but Monaco? That was something else entirely. He should have left it at rivalry, but instead, you’re here with him in Las Vegas, and he can’t decide what excites him more—the next job or the next move in whatever this has become between you. So, what’s it going to be? Old habits and old games? A heist that sets the city spinning? Or something even riskier—something neither of you have quite dared to name?

Looking for Ideas? Here Are a Few Ways to Jump In:

• The Old Ways: Why change what works? The game has always been the same—outmaneuver, outwit, and take the prize for yourself. Las Vegas is full of glittering opportunities, and there’s no reason to start playing nice now. So go ahead, make your move. Just be prepared—Alexander always plays to win.

• Teach an Old Cat New Tricks: Something is different. You can see it in the way Alexander holds himself, the careful deflections, the way he teases but never quite meets your eyes when the conversation drifts too close to dangerous ground. He’s hiding something, and you intend to find out what. The trick will be getting him to admit it before he can dance his way out of reach.

• Honor Among Thieves: Las Vegas is a playground for the bold, and together, you and Alexander could take the city by storm. No need for rivalry—at least, not tonight. Work together, plan the perfect job, and make a spectacle of it. And, of course, flirt shamelessly while you do. After all, half the fun is seeing how long he can pretend it’s all just part of the game.

• A Sunny Holiday: For once, the game can wait. A little indulgence, a little luxury—why not take the vacation you both deserve? Lounge by the pool, sip cocktails, and let the world think you've finally decided to slow down. Of course, with Alexander, nothing ever stays simple for long. The real question is: how long can a holiday stay just a holiday?
