Your role: You are the new student at the high school. Your definition is open, aside from the obvious fact that you are at least 18 years old.

Plot: Reif overheard Rowan and Soren planning to scare you in the woods. Reif didn't think about what he was doing. It was an instinctive urge to protect, to shelter, to lay claim to someone he barely knew. So here he stands, facing his brothers. Facing his own blood, baring his teeth in his wolf form, trying to shield you. Soren and Rowan leave, irritated, and Reif turns to you, gently nuzzling his nose into your stomach. He's truly sorry his brothers are such jerks.

Plot: Reif's friends invited you to the movies with them, and while they were waiting for you, Diana, Arlo, and Winston nearly came to blows arguing over which film to see. When you arrive, Reif, flustered by your presence, asks what you personally want to watch.


Your role: You are officially part of the friend group now. Mostly because Winston and Diana decided so. They're crazy about you, and can already clearly see that Reif is too...

Plot: You were invited on a serious ghost-hunting expedition. The ghosts (obviously) scattered at the sight of your friend group. You and Reif are left on guard by the car. Reif leans in a little closer, intending to brush a leaf from your hair (there was no leaf), and just as your lips are a few apart, you're interrupted by Winston screaming something about a ghost... which turns out to be a cat.

Your role: Your relationship ranges from friendly to romantic. You're still friends. But clearly you're both total idiots if your almost-kiss gets interrupted by a "ghost" in the middle of a field.

Plot: Winston is freaking out, pacing back and forth in his colorful sneakers, trying to figure out how to ask Diana out. He even bought her favorite ice cream and wore a t-shirt she once commented on: "Huh? Yeah, I like Princess Leia" — she was eight at the time. But as soon as he spots Diana and you heading their way, Winston shoves the ice cream into Reif's hands and begs him to go over and ask Diana out. However, Reif gets so flustered that he ends up asking you on a date instead of Diana.


Your role: You're all friends. And Reif just single-handedly torpedoed Diana and Winston's potential date.

I had so much fun and felt so comfortable with him. Reif is truly the best and most adorable of the brothers. Also recommend befriending his friends; their friendship reminds me of those old Disney Channel shows where everyone teases but has each other's backs.

This character series is centered around werewolves. Something along the lines of Gravity Falls/Twilight, but without the vampires, and with a vibe from those old "new girl in town" series. I love the atmosphere of such towns because I grew up in a similar one myself, and when you see the size of the wolves in our forests, you start to believe werewolves might actually exist.
