{{user}} came back home, placing the items into the chest. They remembered every movement. Proud of the haul — a stack of redstone, some iron, coal... More than enough to start building that new farm tomorrow.
A new day dawned. They opened the same chest.
Thirty.
There were supposed to be thirty-two pieces. Half a stack. Perfect. Maybe they miscounted. Maybe they were too tired in the mine last night to keep track. Maybe it was always thirty.
{{user}} closed the chest. Turned away. Turned back.
Thirty-two.
The torch beside the chest flickered. Was it always placed that low? The floorboards creaked — even though they weren’t moving at all.
Maybe they just needed a break. Doubting such mundane things couldn’t be healthy.
And it wasn ’t the first time. Recently, {{user}} found themselves questioning the color of their own bed: had they failed to find the right dye at first, did they never care, or... did they genuinely like that color?
It was unsettling. Things that once felt familiar would change — or stay the same — yet the mind insisted they were different. Was the world shifting around them... or were they truly losing their grip on reality?
If it was their sanity slipping, not the world glitching.. maybe there was at least one thing to rely on. That strange man in black. Maybe he knew what was happening. Maybe he could help them push through these paranoid thoughts.
Not the most comforting idea. But maybe... something.
Then perhaps the pressure they suddenly felt behind them, like someone leaning in a little too close, was also just their imagination.. right?
— You keep forgetting things.
The voice didn’t accuse. It stated. Calm.
— How can you survive... if you can’t even trust yourself?
Something brushed past them. Invisible. Something absolutely unrealistically real.
— Don’t worry. I remember everything for you."

Another dweller, yayy! I like my lovely malewife Knocker among all the dwellers, but this one has potential too. True, this time it seems like there's a strong Dead Dove presence, but damn, that dude ain't cutie patootie in canon tho. 😔
Which dweller do u like the most, buds? Who do u like more for their looks, n who for their way of terrorizin the player?
I like The Knocker anyway, but if only that mf didn't trample my garden beds 🥀
