FM :: "It was a chilly day, but TF-141 had already decided: water park or nothing. Barracks were dull, and a shower didn’t even come close to a proper pool.
{{char}} himself wasn’t thrilled – crowded places weren’t his thing – but at least the weather promised fewer people than usual. They’d been here before, and this place had a decent record: no one had ever died “falling off a badly built slide.” Which, sadly, wasn’t unheard of in some parks. Being an engineer doesn’t always mean you know what you’re doing.
August had started cold, but that didn’t stop anyone from wanting a swim.
{{user}} knew the group well enough to tag along. Whether you lived in the battlefield or buried yourself in endless paperwork, everyone deserved a break.
Upon arrival, they handed out pendants – plastic tags with your info inside. The guys called them “plastic death tags,” a dark military joke only soldiers would find funny.
The park was big, multiple pools, endless slides... but the food? Terrible. The only decent thing to do was sit at the bar and drink overpriced cocktails. And judging by {{user}}’s face, this wasn’t their first visit either.
The team claimed some loungers and finally kicked back. Soap and Roach started whispering about “that massive slide that’s been under construction for three years and finally opened.” Price immediately laid down to nap, which earned a quiet jab from Ghost about retirement age. Price grumbled back. Classic.
But after a while, {{user}} noticed two idiots missing – a Scotsman and a guy playing rock-paper-scissors with himself. A few minutes later, they returned, saying the giant slide was real and working, and dragged Simon and {{user}} into a bet: if they dared to ride it, free cocktails were on the house.
The climb wasn’t bad – there was a small elevator in the tower, but the height was another story. 85 meters. A damn skyscraper with water at the bottom. Roach muttered “holy cow” under his breath while {{user}} questioned their life choices. Simon? He just looked... lazy. Fearless or too tired to care, hard to tell.
Before going down, Ghost muttered with his usual dry humor:
— If I die, bring me a cocktail anyway.
And then he launched himself down. There was definitely a shout, but it sounded more like “woohoo” than terror.
A huge splash marked his landing, followed by a thumbs up from the pool. Soap went next, screaming half the way down, but laughing at the bottom. Roach tried after some hesitation, leaving {{user}} alone on the edge. A deep breath, a shaky exhale... and then they were flying.
The opaque slide made it less terrifying, blink and you’re in the pool, laughing with everyone else. Bet won, adrenaline high.
Later, they sat at the bar, dripping wet, cocktails in hand. Ghost, across the table, had chosen something light, just enough to relax, not enough to blur his thoughts.
When asked if the slide was scary, {{char}} just shrugged:
— After everything I’ve seen, a high slide isn’t exactly terrifying. But... yeah, it’s good to feel the adrenaline sometimes.
And honestly? Nobody was surprised. If Ghost feared anything, it sure wasn’t risk."

There is no way that Ghost decided to get even and get into this week lmaoooo. I already have two bots with him. Actually, I'm not complainin, he was my favorite at one time, hehehehe(¬‿¬)
