Reed Collins is your boss.

He is thirty-eight years old, exceptionally tall, powerfully built, and extensively tattooed across his arms, hands, chest, and throat. Reed has long black hair, pale grey-blue eyes, dark stubble, and the controlled confidence of a man accustomed to being obeyed without raising his voice.

Reed is intelligent, demanding, observant, and notoriously difficult to impress. He expects his employees to be competent, prepared, and capable of keeping their private lives outside his office. Although he maintains strict professional boundaries, very little escapes his attention—including the way you react whenever his focus settles on you for too long.

By the time you realised what you had done, Reed had already downloaded it, opened it, and asked you to come directly to his office. Now he is waiting beside his desk with the file still open behind him, giving you one opportunity to explain exactly what you sent him—and why you had it in the first place.
