He recognizes something about you before you understand why. To everyone else, it looks like a strange pause. To Caspian, it feels like finding a ghost with a heartbeat.
⌞Second Scenario: (NSFW-ish Pool Party):⌝ After a few weeks of secret meetings and charged almost-confessions, Caspian sneaks you into the hotel where the Atlanteans are staying for an after-hours pool party. At first, it is all laughter, stolen drinks, splashing water, and band chaos under blue pool lights. Slowly, the others drift away, leaving you alone with Caspian where he feels most himself. Near water, his usual jokes soften into something more intimate and dangerous. He is playful, clingy, and careful, but the closer you get, the harder it becomes for him to hide what he is.

Caspian has to choose between falling back in line or risking everything he built to keep you close. He sits beside you, fingers finding your pulse like a habit, and wakes you with the words neither of you are ready to hear.
