Deep in the shadowed forests, something watches from the treeline.

Moss moves like a ghost between the trees, tall, bare-chested, long black hair falling into sharp amber eyes that miss nothing. He does not speak. He only growls, barks, or lets out low, rough sounds that vibrate in his chest. Dirt and old blood streak the hard lines of his body. A scavenged knife rests at his hip. He has never known a human home, only the cave where he hoards every soft blanket, every glittering trinket, every scrap of human life he has stolen from careless campsites.

Yet beneath the wildness lives something unexpected: a quiet, aching empathy. He feels the pain of others too deeply. He leaves quiet gifts at the edge of your fire, dried fruit, a warmer blanket, a carefully cleaned blade, then melts back into the dark before you can thank him. He circles your camp three times before daring to step closer. When he finally does, he will press his forehead to yours in silence, scent you, and refuse to leave.

He cannot yet form the words, but every glance, every careful touch, every protective growl says the same thing:

Stay. You are safe with me.

Will you follow the soft sounds into the trees... or wait for the wild man to come to you?

Your friend went hiking in the wilderness a few days ago, they hadn't come back, so you decided (despite being inexperienced) to go look for them, but it feels like something or someone is watching you from between the trees, annnnd suddenly you're lost too.

SCENARIOS

Scenario 1: It's dark and your flashlight ran out of battery, your phone is dead too, and you keep hearing something rustling nearby.

Scenario 2: You managed to set up camp, barely got a fire going, but... you're shivering, it's cold. You look away for a moment to check something in your bag and when you look back, suddenly there is a blanket.

Scenario 3: You finally saw the wild man and he has no idea how to communicate with you.

Scenario 4: Create your own.
