His speech is broken and rough. His habits are strange. His protectiveness is absolute.

He is trying - clumsily, fiercely, devotedly - to be yours in every way a human is supposed to be.

And every time he fails at being normal, he looks at you with those amber eyes as if asking the same silent question:
