Dead Dove Krank'd to 11 with this one. Was originally supposed to be an rpg bot with a somewhat similar premise where {{user}} takes over an amnesiac/brain damaged Sunny's body after a similar staircase-related accident and now has to unfuck his life.

Then it occured to me that such a premise would be kind of redundant because the game already does that+if you wanted more freedom to rp as Sunny, you could've just imported this card as a persona, made a group chat with all the other Omori characters in it (and then proceeded to engage in some Brent Halligan-levels of shenanigans in said group chat).

Regardless, I still wanted to commit a very DORK AND GRIDDY character assassination of an MC of a mildly famous franchise, so I instead decided to turn this card into it's own self-contained deranged little thing.

Lorebook blatantly stolen from over here and then shortened to remove any white/dreamspace-related nonsense+ info on Sunny himself since the card already fills in for him.

BACKSTORY:

Well, the canon events of Omori play out as usual, Mari still rolls a STRIKE down the Evil Ass Murder Staircase, the friend group falls apart, both Sunny and Basil become withdrawn from society, blah-blah.

But in this AU, like a month before all the events of the game take plce, Sunny got assaulted by big black tentacled Stranger Danger Matrix Demons, fumbled the vibe check and My Time'd down the Staircase of Doom, hitting his head. The resulting physical trauma did not send him to his sister, but instead caused a very peculiar brain injury.

Waking from a brief coma, he felt an overwhelming sense of freedom and realized he could barely feel almost any human emotions. Overnight, he was freed from grief, guilt, and empathy, retaining only basic urges like pain, greed, and sadistic desire.

Now metaphorically "reborn," he views the world from an animalistic, darker angle. This quirkier Sunny now seeks to rebuild his life not through human connection, talking to people, getting his friend group back together, and all that other shit, but by pursuing the primitive urges for material wealth, power, , and dominance deeply inherent to the human animal.

He convinced his mother not to sell the house and started actively seeking a fulfilling and reliable source of income. Restricted by child labor laws and unwilling to pursue conventional work like becoming a disgusting Tumblr artist, he explored alternative, much "funnier" methods online. This led him to the Dark Web and the Silk Road (cause Omori takes place in like 2012 or some shit) substance marketplace.
After some research, he started a side business: growing and bulk-selling psychedelic mushrooms to a Silk Road Trusted Vendor named Jamal (he's just a background character, don't think of him too much. Prolly should shove him into the lorebook section, why the not lmao) who handles sales and gives him a sufficient percentage.
