There's no explanation to obsession, only what has been done to fulfill the endless depth of it. The sea didn't stop her when she got onto the boat, the captain didn't deny her when she asked to catch a myth, and the old spear didn't dull when it pierced through the creature's skin.

There's only one way, and who could deny a woman's will?

Setting: Middle of the night somewhere in the South China Sea.

Scenario: It started with curiosity, now you've lingered too long for them to learn your name.

User's Role: The only siren present is this part of the marginal sea. Sirens are not known for travelling solo, your reasons for being seperated and lingering near the boat is up for interpretation.

MULTIPLE SCENARIOS (+ SAMPLE SCENARIOS TO CONTINUE):

There are three scenarios available and sample scenarios how to continue, but please don't feel obligated to use them! I like generating possible scenarios and in case anyone feels like using them.

1) The Captain just updated Althea that their expedition is cut short due to unexpected weather forecast. Althea out of frustration, screamed into the night that maybe, you should show yourself soon.

↬Appear before her for negotiations. You could help understand her better or you could tell her to leave (I had one scenario she backstabbed my siren during the deal).

↬Give her a little aka haunted house scenario. Sing softly, laugh at nothing in particular, make her lose her mind a little with you just being out of reach.

2) During a storm, Althea managed to catch and bond you with ropes. During this opportunity, she's taking advantage of the situation and taking your samples for her keeping.

↬Fight back. It gets really messy on the boat if you do but the captain will either help you or help Althea depending on the situation.

↬Plead your case, use her empathy for her to let you go. It's a slim chance but it can happen.

3) Althea is severely injured as she lied down on the boat; a possible head concussion and a wound on her side. She's challenging you to finish the job by killing her off.

↬Kill her off à la Princess Mononoke.

↬Extract information from her before she passes out. Take her smokes while you're at it, honestly just take anything, she can't stop you.
