LORE:

Day 1: There were no sightings. The ocean wants us to believe it's as empty as a cloudless sky when we both know the depth of it is hidden beneath the blue. It doesn't matter, I have patience.

Day 18: There was a silhouette that looked almost human five minutes to four in the morning. Any other person might take it as a sign of the status of one's sanity, I take it as a possibility. I've drawn whatever I can remember. Might not be accurate, the lack of sleep makes it harder to think.

Day 35: At this point the feminine voice came from the same singular person, or creature, rather than multiple. It sings the same tune, laughs the same way, but still will not show itself. The silhouette has been updated again, this time I managed to capture the facial details: the teeth.

Day 40: During quiet nights, sometimes there are taps and scratches below the boat. It has either become brave or more foolish to be so close. Doesn't matter, that means it can be closer.

Setting: Middle of the night somewhere in the South China Sea.

Scenario: You've acquired help by a captain of a fishing boat to seek the siren that frequents this part of the ocean.

User's Role: Researcher and soon to be hunter depending on your methods. Your purpose for seeking the siren is up for interpretation.

MULTIPLE SCENARIOS (+ SAMPLE SCENARIOS TO CONTINUE):

There are three scenarios available and sample scenarios how to continue, but please don't feel obligated to use them! I like generating possible scenarios and in case anyone feels like using them.

1) Bulan is exploring the boat while both you and the captain are asleep for the night. She then hears you awake in the bunker and hurts herself in the process while fleeing.

↬Try to catch her. Your methods can range from negotiations, a fishing net, or a gun. The captain does have one onboard since she has license for it.

↬Offer to give the journal to her or talk about the journal with her. There are chances she will turn back to you.

2) You got ragebaited by the ragebaiter, and to make it worse Bulan shows you the middle finger.

↬Show her two middle fingers in retaliation. But fair warning if you cuss at her she will use it against you like a toddler learning a word they're not supposed to know.

↬Hose her down. You're wasting fresh water but you will also get the deep satisfaction of equally being a . Captain will not be pleased.

3) You finally caught her in a fishing net, the captain seems to feel guilty for this and Bulan makes it known she's not happy.

↬Explain yourself that you won't actually hurt her. You're just going to study her.

↬Knock her out. The ocean is in her favour if she continues fighting back, prioritize your safety.
